SW Florida Furniture Direct He Sold Furniture that was poorly made and damaged and Won't Refund Money Ripoff Ft. Myers Florida
I purchased furniture from the owner Jay McCreadie in March of 07. I have had many problems with my furniture from defects, poor workmanship and poor service. Jay has swapped out a bed railing, two chairs. I have issues with all my furniture. He knows this and told me that he was waiting to swap out pieces or to see if he could have some of the items repaired. after spending $7271.60 and 2424.22 on a bedroom set, dining set and leather set. His excuse is that they discontinued all these items. We are no further in settling this as the owner now says he doesn't care. Well I do. That is alot of money and I expect quality and service in which he has none of these to offer. Please step in to help us. He said that he was not suppose to sell to us. He only sells to large corporations. Does he even have a license to sell? On his card it states Top quality with Wholesale prices. I have this in dispute with my credit card but I don't believe anything is being done. Please help.
The owner is rude and doesn't seem to want to help. We have had furniture medic come out and gave a price to fix 3 problems when there are more issues. Almost $1500.00 for the furniture. A leather man named Charles came out also and said that the furniture is a defect. Jay doesn't seem to want to help us as he said other customers have wanted a refund as they seemed to have issues also like mine. He said no way. This is terrible for my family. Where is customer service and products that are good? Manufacurer is China for the furniture and Sofa Art is the manufacturer for the leather.
