I am so glad that YOU will personally NOT be buying that mop. I think that is a given for over 90% of the people who called in response to the "as seen on TV" commercial. Most reasonably responsible people who value their money WILL NOT order something from TV or otherwise without knowing exactly how much they will be charged for it. This includes shipping, handling, and other hidden costs. I am glad that Agnes's report helped you realize this.

Peter, why are you beating up Agnes? I think (chief complaint) she posted her report to warn us not to buy that piece of crap mop. I, for one, thank Agnes. I won't buy that mop.

Sweep and Mop does not permit speaking to a "REAL" person. The ordering system is 100% automated and it goes on and on for roughly 15 minutes trying to get you to order more and more crap. There is no option to speak to a live person. Hitting a "0" results in the same message repeating. It's a loop of phone h**l. I ordered the mops, they are worthless. A pretty purple sponge, however that doesn't sweep or mop up anything, but it is pretty. I considered it a lesson in ordering from television. As I've said before in another post, the only good thing I've ever ordered from television were those Ginsu knives years ago. They're still sharp and work great. Look for those AS SEEN ON TV products at walgreens...they're cheaper there than on television, and no shipping!

I don't understand the problem here. You purchased 2 mops for a total of $10. That's only $5 each. What do you expect ... an iron-clad mop handle and a pad so absorbent it can soak up the ocean? Go to any discount store, like Walmart or Target, and you will find that a decent mop costs around $15 .. EACH. Furthermore, if you had questions or preferences regarding shipping cost or carriers, why did you not pick up the phone and call the toll-free 800 number to get answers BEFORE finalizing your transaction? Proceeding with the check out process without asking your questions and THEN finding out that the shipping process is not to your satisfaction does NOT constitute a rip off.
