I went through hell completing the truck driving classes with Switf Transportation. The classes takes 3 to 4 weeks to complete but it took me 5 weeks due to the school supervisor did not take us to the range class on time we had to stay 2 weeks extra. Not only that since they had already planned to keep the local students but all of the out of state students had to go home to thier local terminal to meet thier mentor. Well I was sent home and never been called to go on the road with a mentor. No- message nor e-mail.

Now, soon I know that they are going to bill me sooner or later. I had to get a job quick because I pay childsupport and those laws dont play. This is my true story.

This does indeed happen they get 50-100 students each week, and only have 100 or so mentors at the ocala terminal, if the students are on the road with a mentor for 6 weeks, how can you not expect some delay in getting a mentor. I am the girlfriend of a mentor, and I hear it every six weeks from his students. Yes the system is off, but it works better than some of swifts systems.

this isn't Chuckles that we're talking about here. This may be someone who may have a legit complaint and DOESN'T lie.

Why Don't You Tell The Truth?

Swift expects its new-hire people to tell the truth, period. The fact that you got shipped home to Florida without being able to get on a truck tells me you either flunked the Swift background check, that you failed the driver school, or you got caught telling a lie. Hey, maybe you got caught doing all three.
