He still shouldnt have got fired jc but in some areas i do agree with you what was you taking pictures with? how in the hell was you on the phone with 911 while he was chasing you? i am also an experinced driver i always had protection at all times. and i also was crapped on by swift i didnt even know this site existed until i got my computer to help with my law suit. cover ups are possible the biggest drug dealers is the cops and people in politics what was you carrying???? most people who work for swift do not see it coming like me i didnt see it coming they had no right to fire me i cant find a job cause they are black balling me they even repoted things that didnt even happen. if that were me they would have took him off in a body bag and i would be in prison for self deffence.

Report it to the FBI office. It's their job to police the police. But, you have to do it quickly, if you wait too long they will not respond. At least the report will be documented in case of future incidents.

JC, As a former OTR truck driver, I can tell you right up front that there are MANY holes in your story, and that without a doubt, YOU got yourself arrested. I can gather just from your whiney post that you are obviously a sheltered, spoiled, Mama's boy who is brand new to the trucking industry, and clueless overall. Here's why. The most obvious HOLE in your story is you did not tell us how YOU tore up the trailer door! Trailer doors do not just break going down the highway, and a broken door never left me stranded on the side of the road! A SMART, experienced truck driver will always carry personal tools and a variety of securement devices like tape, rope, coat hangers, etc. This way, you can call in the damage, and move along to the nearest AUTHORIZED repair center, or drop yard. Just common sense. As a SWIFT driver, WHY would you walk into a MARTIN TRANSPORTATION office? Are they an authorized agent for SWIFT? Why would you get them involved? This was your second mistake. This is what pissed people off, and you were probably slated for termination at that point, you just didn't realize it. WHY did you just not use your ONBOARD COMMUNICATIONS like you are supposed too? That is why you have it! USE IT!! And, WHY would you not have a personal cell phone? Are you really that derilect? I would NEVER drive OTR, or even local or regional these days without a personal cell phone. That is just plain stupid. Maybe your MOMMY will get you one to avoid this problem in the future. Why were you "dehydrated"??? A SMART truck driver prepares for the conditions, and drinks PLENTY of water, or gatorade, or the like. But again, you are obviously NOT smart. And, I doubt VERY SERIOUSLY that the alleged attempted assault actually happened as you stated. Especially since it was allegedly documented by a 911 operator. That can be subpoena'd for evidence in a criminal action and/or civil action. Regardless of what caused it or who this person allegedly knew, if there really were multiple third party witnesses, criminal charges would have been filed on this MAX character. Again, just doesn't make sense. You know how you deal with someone waving a knife? You kick him as hard as you can in the balls and then punch his face in. At least if he would have cut you just a little, there would have been evidence of the assault or attempted assault. Don't be such a sissy boy. Grow some nuts and defend yourself. Maybe you should have had your Mommy there to defend you. And, EXACTLY what "lawyer" are you appealing to here? This is a public site to expose rip offs, it is not a legal aid board. That is what the yellow pages are for. Maybe your Mommy has a lawyer, or can help you get one. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DOOR? PLEASE BE SPECIFIC as to what, where, when, how. My guess is that you forgot to secure your load and or forgot to latch the door before pulling out onto the road. This seems to be common among SWIFT drivers. Take this as a learning experience, and move on. Grow up.

At any time you can call in the Fedreral Marshals. Even though the Sheriff is the highest law enforcement offical in the county, Federal Marshals have jurisdiction over interstate highways. This is true in the scales too. Just be sure you are in the right, because the are usally professional and very fair, and if you are in the wrong, you will have an even bigger problem.

You should have called Dps and let them Handle the problem because the state could have made swift and the s/;t bag in question fix the problem or shut you down. They have more legal response than the sherriff. but if you are going to sue. Sue Swift, your boss at the time, the county sherriff, the repair company and the jacka#$ who was sent to help. 1. for false imprisoment and arrest. 2. threating and assult. 3. false termination and lost wages. and they wonder why swift gets sued daily

What kind of person are you. This guy gets treated like s***, and you have no mercy for him. Wait something like this will happen to you. He was just advising people on what to look out for. I hope he sues the s*** out of Swift and wins. Looks like this is a real good case. Please update this site when there is new information.

My husband was a truck driver for 33 years and always said that SWIFT TRANSPORTATION is a "chicken crap" outfit to work for..While it is true that the majority of trucking companies "don't care about their drivers" SWIFT is the worst of worst!!"..Keep those wheels a rolling, making money for the company.."The hell with the driver, and yet if it weren't for the "truckers" these companies would be out of business..
