Just FYI, about Swimming Pools, etc.

 

1.    They never acknowledged my order

2.    A week after my card was billed, I still had not heard from them. When I called them, the woman on the phone was a complete b***h.

3.    Several days later, they finally sent an “order cancellation” email, stating that in 4 business days I would see the refund on my card.

4.    After another week, I called to find out the status of my refund. I was told I would get a call back in 30 minutes after “investigation.”

5.    After 2 hours, I called back (not having received the call) and the same b***h told me they were no longer accepting calls from me and hung up.I had to file a claim with Chase to get my money back. Am still waiting…

they are complete jerks and rude to boot.

Hi my name is Jeff.  I have been taking money from my customers for years now.  I use this money to support my habits.  Most of them illegal!  Customers don't need their product they just need to give me their monies!  How else am I going to keep gas in my Mercedes?  How else am I going to keep the lights on at Sandwick? Or keep my boyfriend fed.  There are no rules to running a buisness online.  Take money from your customer and spend it before the product ever gets ordered!  Same Story every year and I am still in buisness.  I have more complaints then any company on the web, but customers still give me thier credit card.  I like to give the card numbers to my brother.  He just got out of prison and knows how to use them.  Please order again soon!

Here’s a few more lovely reviews about these stellar business people…  But hey, don't take my word for it, please investigate these websites... one of them says that in July of 08 there were already 97 reports of bad business with the better business bureau. how many more have there been since then?

EVERY single report says how rude they are, refusing to ship the part, refusing to refund the money, hanging up on people, not sending receipts - invoices - shipping manifest. In fact, I couldn’t find EVEN ONE customer that had anything nice to say about these people, NOT ONE!

There are MANY, MANY, Many pissed off would be customers writing articles telling their stories, each similar in that they placed the order, got no invoice, had to chase them around to get ANY information (never mind that it was the WRONG information), got no part (or the wrong one and then was charged $70+ for restocking fees), and no refund. After WEEKS AND WEEKS of this nonsense, people get angry. You’re d**n right I got mad. So did everyone else who wrote about you. That’s your fault. Your incompetence, lousy attitude and rude mouth did the trick. And quite frankly, just because the consumer IS angry, doesn’t give you the right or reason to screw them, make up stories, lie to them and refuse to talk to them, ship their part, or refund their money (which, by the way, is why we are pissed off in the first place, isn’t that ironic?). That’s just crappy. That’s all on you, dear. That shows your character louder than any complaint we could possibly file against you.

 

I personally had to shell out money for that part, then, while I was “waiting” for a response (no, she didn’t keep in touch with me ‘every step of the way’, she ignored my NUMEROUS phone calls and emails, and when I FINLLY did get her on the phone, she hung up on me), I had to purchase anther part – from a reputable company this time, received the part, had it installed, and STILL NO WORD FROM THESE JACKASSES.

On top of that, they are RUDE, INSULTING, IGNORANT, and blame you for all their disgusting business ethics, or dare I say, lack of ethics. i personally wouldn't be a bit surprised if they even have a business or venders, beyond a website that lists prices just below everyone else and a credit card machine.

I wonder if the reason they don't do refunds is because they don't know how...  i mean, let's face it, they don't have much practice at it, do they?

So, instead of doing anything that even remotely looks like morals, ethics, honesty or integrity, they slam the phone in your ear, blame your website settings for their lack of invoices, tell you that they can't refund your money because you're upset (as if that's not the f***ing lamest excuse in the world - now how does that have anything to do with running the card backwards?), shirk their responsibilities, and shift the attention on the consumer for being upset. never mind that it comes after weeks of being ignored and lied to, thieving our money, calling us names and hanging up on us.

And after all is said and done, she (the nameless one, who isn’t brave enough to even give her name – wouldn’t wanna open yourself up for a lawsuit, would ya honey?), threatens me, calls me obscene. I’ll tell you what’s obscene - they way they treat people. Good, caring, unsuspecting people, who have broken spas or pools and are waiting for parts. We pay extra money because we can’t fix the settings and run up the electricity, other parts (that were dependant on that one) break down, etc. You know what I’m talking about.

 

Here’s a novel idea. Why, oh why, don’t they just figure it out? they would make more money (not to mention better karma), and spend less time rebutting complaints (because it helps the BBB grading, but you notice she didn’t DENY any of the charges, she just tried to shift the attention), have repeat customers and make everyone happy, if they would just DO THE FREAKING JOB!!!! How hard is that, for crying out loud? Then you have audacity to blame me for your incompetence? I don’t think so. I mean, really, how long does it take to put a part in a box, slap a label on it and shove it out the door?? Oh, I forgot, in and around all the complaint messages - and you really must be so bogged down with those - far too busy to actually send any orders out I imagine.  See, I was right when I told you you’d better get used to it, happy reading, dear. We’re all complaining about you. it’s funny how you think it’s my fault. There are 6 websites listed below (and I have a whole slew of other ones), some of them with multiple stories. ARE THEY ALL WRONG, OR IS IT YOU? WHO’S THE COMMON DENOMINATOR HERE? It certainly isn’t me.

 

That’s right, it’s you. take a good, hard look in the mirror. As I’ve said many times to you…

 

I’m going to win this battle, I have the paper trail and you have no leg to stand on. You will refund my money, either willingly (which we know isn’t the case), or we’ll force the issue and since you haven’t any moral values, we’ll play hardball. It would have been far wiser to do what’s right instead of trying to screw people over. As I mentioned, Chase refunded my money, because I’m smarter than you. you’re pissed off because your little scam wouldn’t work on me. Too bad, so sad. Now you have to pay them. And I dare you to refuse to pay them. I dare you to take me to court. I’d love to go. BRING IT ON, B*CH! I also told you to put your money where your mouth is, then I had to change it to, put the money you stole from other people where your mouth is, since the money isn’t honestly yours.

 

I do hope your business reflects the causes you have made. I hope you receive the same in your personal affairs that you dish out in your (and I use the word incredibly loosely) “business” affairs. It didn’t have to be like this, you could have been honest.

 

And, once again, let me emphatically say, MAY YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW. And since the world is round, I’m sure you will.

 

If I can stop even one person from sending their money to these crooks, I’ll be happy.

 

Please do your homework before “buying”, you’d be better off to lay your money in the street and walk away from it. At least then it would be your choice to spend money on nothing…

There, I’ve said my piece. Almost everything she said was a lie, except for the part about me being angry, and (from what little I read) the quotes from my emails. I own those and I meant every word.

The rest, about me yelling at them, her keeping in touch every step of the way, my internet settings blocking the invoice, was complete horseshit. And I don’t care how she responds, it won’t make it true. I’ve given them enough of my time and energy, I’ll share my story with anyone who will listen, in an attempt to dissuade them from making the same mistake me and everyone in those complaints did.

 

In case you have occasion to defer anyone you know from doing business with them, it would be wise.

of course you'd lie!

sure i was mad. wouldn't anybody be?

you didnt' send an invoice, but somehow your email got through... suspicious on your part...

secondly, none of those emails were upset untill WEEKS had gone by with no word, your rudeness on the phone, haning up on me...

all you had to do was anything you promised...

1. send an invoice

2. send the part

3. refund the order

4.call back as promised.

you did NONE of those things.

you can justify, explain, shirk responisbility and try to make it all my fault.

but what about ALL those other reports people filed against you?

did they all have thier settings too high, and were they impatient about their order as well?

they all say you are RUDE, SLOW, INCOMPETENT, hmmmmm the truth hurts, don't it?

i don't care what you say about me. i got chase to go after you to get my refund. i won that battle. you keep making the causes you're making. you'll be out of business soon enough and won't be able to rip anyone else off again. i don't give a s**t about your tiny little story, your poor business etihics, lack of morals and i won't give you any more of my time.

i will, however, tell this story in as many ways as i can, to as many people as i can, and if i can stop them from ordering from you and being ripped off, it'll be worth my time.

I would like to see an investigation into these thieves. There are MANY reports online about exactly the same behavior with others, which may just be hearsay to you… here’s a link to just a few examples…

Additionally, since we can’t do anything about her being a total and complete b***h, I would like to point out that below is the actual part I ordered (that text, by the way, is all I received in the way of receipt, and that only after calling and emailing for a solid week to get it). The next item is a clip from one of the emails, dated 3-4-11,  that states that item cannot be ordered through their vendors (if they even have any vendors) and lastly, a link to the exact page on their website where they are still  advertising that item.

Description - HT-2 SPASIDE CONTROL, WITH 10' CORD - HYDRO QUIP,INC. - 34-0190 

 

"Unfortunately we are no longer able to receive the product that you ordered from our vendor. Your order for that product has been cancelled and you are being issued a refund. We have ceased contact with this customer and are instead dealing directly with her bank.  We continue to receive abusive e mails, to which we will not respond:

This customer ordered an item.  She was emailed a receipt for her purchase automatically through our system, as all customers are.  She may have her SPAM settings set too high to receive the email receipt, but it was automatically sent to the e mail address she provided.  Additionally, she was provided with a thank you screen which contained her order number and order information that could have been printed at the time of purchase.  Either would be considered confirmation of her order.

Unfortunately the item that she ordered had been discontinued.  When this was discovered, we notified her immediately.  We had some problems with our refund system and had opened a case on her order for the owner of the company to review and refund.  This did take longer than the usualy 4 business days.

We have attempted to keep this customer informed as to the status of both her order originally, and then her refund - but it has been challenging.  Firstly because she states that she does not receive e mails from us even though we have verified with her that we do have her correct e mail address.  Secondly because when we have attempted to call her phone, it is blocked from receiving our calls without entering our phone number - apparently because she runs a DAYCARE.  Thirdly due to the verbal and written abuse that she has directed towards our staff when we have attempted to assist her. 

Here to follow are some excerpts from notes in her order as well as e mails that she has sent to our company:

Customer called - apparently very upset that she did not "receive confirmation" of her order. I let her know that it was received and that she automatically would have been sent a receipt via e mail but may have her SPAM settings set too high etc. She became even more upset - raising her voice - saying "WE ALREADY COVERED THIS MY E MAIL ADDRESS IS RIGHT AND I KNOW MY SPAM SETTINGS" etc. She asked why I would "keep covering the same thing" etc. She continued yelling over me as I tried to tell her that I would send her a test e mail.

Spoke with Daisy. Very irate. Lot's of cussing regarding the situation. She is still waiting for her refund. Says she will call  bank and raise a big stink. I said I'd escalate and call her back shortly. She said don't call back unless to tell her she has been refunded. 

She called back and I answered - she said she wanted to talk to the gentleman about her "Goddamn refund" and started screaming and cursing. I advised her that we are not able to assist her via telephone but that I would be happy to answer any questions that she had via e mail and terminated the phone call.

Per customer e mails:

I’ll blind copy a few other people so they have record, too, and so they will be advised of your lack of morals and crappy business practice. I also filed a claim with my charge card and complaint with the BBB.  It’s no surprise they already knew you and you have a shitty rating. You deserve it. I’m going to win this battle, I have the paper trail and you have no leg to stand on. I’m not the only one who received this same treatment and took the time to let others know. Nice reputation you got for yourself. You must be very proud. Keep up the good work.

his customer has called our staff "Bitches" and used other startling and vulgar languadge towards our staff.  We are working with her bank to make sure that she is credited in full for this order, but cannot work directly with her as we will not subject our employees to that kind of abuse.
