We were under contract with T-mobile for a family phone. 1 phone broke and was not being used. We decided to change service to Cingular at the END of our contract. Cingular called T-mobile to change phone # to new service. We continued to receive bills for T-mobile in spite of no service being used.

We called them and they said we had to cancel both phones EVEN though one was reported broke and that we told them we would not replace and run the contract out. In addition to this, our plan was a FAMILY PLAN. A family plan does not exist without at least 2 phones. We feel the SERVICE was cancelled not 1 phone. They refuse to rectify this, they continued to bill for services and have now reported us to the credit collections. I have since called T-mobile to ask for a Family Plan and only wanted 1 phone. They claim "you can't have family service plans with 1 phone", yet they are billing for this service. There was NO SERVICE on the phone they are billing for beyond our cancellation date AND at least a month before cancelling.
