Over two years ago, my service with Talk America was cancelled when I switched my LD carrier to AT&T. In those two years, I have not used the service at ALL. Yet Talk America has continued to bill my credit card every month.

In my account information, it states that my email address is required for billing notifications. They have the correct email address. My bill has gone up 7 times in the past 11 months, but did I get any notification? NONE.

In fact, have I gotten ANY correspondence from them since cancelling the service? NONE. BUT they have quietly continued to charge my credit card account without doing anything to call attention to the fact that they are billing me for a serice that I am no longer using. A service I am sure they were told to cancel.

So let's call Customer Service. The website clearly states that there are Saturday hours - 8-5 - in their CS department. Not true. Only a recorded answer. I sent two emails, and I am supposed to hear from them within 48 hours. We'll see. Based on what I read on this site, I'm not holding my breath.

I haven't pulled all of my information yet, but I am estimating that they have fraudulently charged me over $500 over the past two years or so.

This is a blatant RIP-OFF!
