TBIC aka Tampa Bay Investment Company could be compared to a well-seasoned Timeshare Operator. They use fancy talk and motivated sales pitches to entice you into believeing you are going to be walked through the process of learning how to become a real estate investor by means of becoming an apprentice. This couldn't be further from the truth!
The mentoring is not from Dolmar Cross, who you are led to believe it will be with...and oh, by the way...the assigned coach suddenly had to go on his honeymoon....so no calls were scheduled. Wrong dial-in numbers are given. Monthly meetings with TBIC are cancelled without being communicated, and there are stimes when you don't even receive communication that a meeting has been scheduled. None of the owners (Arcadio Diaz, Dolmar Cross, Joe Gnapp, or Mike Vega), hold up to their end of the bargain and they blame office staff for their lack of professionalism.
Not one deal submitted by anyone I know that signed up was accepted. It was even admitted after the fact by Joe, that the hardest part of this business is finding the properties. Several "apprenctices" i know of are trying to also get their money back from these con-artists. They misrepresent themselves, what the business is, what they were going to do for the "partners" and generally just sold a good story. They refund some people, and not others. They prey on the people that need to make money.
Don't sign up with them. DOn't be fooled. There are other businesses out there that are legitimate and value for money, such as Clever Investor.
