Tax Care Pros. Owner Steve Marsh Ripped us off for $4200, after 15 month I received my first call back. With a refusal to send our money back or send proof of work done Los Angeles California
We hire Tax Care Pros to handle our IRS problems in Feb. 2008 and I received my first call back today. I requested that they refund our $4200 and/or send us confirmation that they have done any work for us. I spoke with Marcella. She refused both requests and hung up on me. This company is a complete rip off!!!!!!!!! We have contacted the CA. State Bar and are filing a complaint and requesting payment out of a fund they have set up for clients who get ripped off by CA lawyers. We are also taking them to small claim in LA county. The bad part is we have to go to LA to sue them. But we can sue to have them pay our travel fees along with all the other costs we have incrued in the last 15 months. As with Glen in Greenwood, Indiana, we were told by a Mr. Tom Taglang that we would have peaceful days and restful nights. But instead I have been under so much stress due to this company I've had to seek psych care. As for the restful nights all they are is nightmares. I've tried contacting this company over 50 times in the last 15 months and have been transfered to at least 20 different mailboxes with no response. The only direct conversation I've ever had was the their accounts receivable department telling me I would not be allowed to speak with my attorney until our bill was paid in full, which of course we had already done several months prior to this conversation. I think they were just trying to get more money out of us. Since this started, I have had a breakdown and my husband has had a stroke. Whatever you do, do not hire this company, I have contacted the IRS myself and they have confirmed they have never heard from Tax Care Pros on our behalf and further more say that our particular tax issues cannot be handled without outside help so I am filing a form 911 for a tax advocate and also filing 3939A reporting Tax Care pros fraud. I have also contact my state attorney general and am filing a complaint with them. I suggest anyone who has already been caught in this trap do the same and good luck to you. I'll keep this up to date when I have anything new to report.
