Do not do business with tax defense partners. I made this mistake and hired them to handle my negotiations with the irs over back taxes i owe. After going over all the details they gave me a flat fee rate of 6,500 paid in two payments, one now and one 30 days from now. Less than a week after making the second payment of 3750 they called me and told me another 3000 was needed to complete the needed process to be able to submit my offer to the Irs. I was outraged it was clearly just an attempt to get more moeny out of me. They held my case hostage i had already paid 6500 to handle the situatuion but once they got the money they wanted more. I am in the process of suing them because they never had any intention of honoring our contract, it was just the hook to get me on the line and they could keep asking for more and more money.. Do not use this company they are not ethical and will not do the job they promise to do. please let me know if you have also had this happen to you, im sure im not the only one. They pay all this money to get celeberties to endorse their company, they can afford thay because they rip off guys like me...Tax Defense partners sucks!!

For years I've been thinking about jumping into the tax resolution business and helping people with their back tax issues so they can move forward with their lives and not have to worry about the IRS hounding them. I understand for many reasons individuals end up with tax obligations that they just can't afford to pay and with the penalties and interest it becomes an impossible hurdle.

Traveling down the road of starting a tax resolution business and reviewing all of the rip off reports by fly by night organizations I've quickly come to realize that many consumers/taxpayers have a sour taste in their mouth when the topic of tax resolution companies comes up. We as competent and reputable tax practictioners must wade through muddied waters in order to bring integrity back to our profession.
