Although TaxExact woes the public with sales pitch calls, they are horrible with customer service. My firm decided to switch tax software providers this year and give TaxExact a try. The pricing was considerbly less than what we are accustomed to payng, and after completing the demo we decided they may be a great fit for us.
We purchased the software online and the following day received an email stating the price was reduced by 40%. We contacted our sales rep, Pedro, and inquired if they would refund the difference. To make a long story short we contacted TaxExact a total of 9 times in 13 days trying to talk to someone prior to installing the software.
We finally spoke to Karen Hughes in acocunting who advised us they would not honor the discount for us. We then requested a refund since we had not installed the software. She advised us that we had not returned the product within the required time period. Very interesting how they stalled talking to us until we had missed the opportunity to return the product.
Buyers BeWare!! This is a very unethical company. Much more concerned about making a sale verses making a customer..
