My name is Ricardo Perazza and I live in Duluth, Georgia:
I have a loan with Taylor, Bean & Whitaker. For months, I have been trying to reach someone at Taylor Bean & Whitaker in Ocala, Florida. When I call, no one answers the phone, and I have been known to hold for more than one hour, just to be put on hold again. It is quite obvious now that this is a standard business practice for this company. When I try to make payments online, sometimes I am successful and other times not. Their system is designed specifically for their customers to fall behind on their payments thus benefiting Taylor, Bean & Whitaker's fraudulent business practices.
I have researched Taylor, Bean and am not surprised that I am one of many who are experiencing the very same thing. All of you out there know what I am experiencing. I have made many attempts to pay my bills online without success. Mainly, I have federal expressed my payments to Taylor Bean & Whitaker in Ocala, Florida. Two payments made in April alone have never been posted.
One payment has been sent back to me with a letter from Taylor, Bean & Whitaker dated April 9, 2009 but the post mark on the envelope was April 27th, 2009. They refused my payment stating that it was not for the correct amount. The amount I sent was for more than my usual payment. To my surprise, my payment has increased by more than $ 200.00. Sound familiar? Guess what? I am now further behind.
In April Alone, I sent them $ 6,000.00 more than enough to cover two (2) mortgage payments. None of that money has ever been posted to my mortgage. One check has been refused, and returned back to me. Today, May 1, 2009, I sent a Certified Check for the new amount and also another payment via Federal Express once again. To date, I have attempted to pay Taylor, Bean & Whitaker over $ 12,000.00 in mortgage payments.
Something is very wrong here! I have consulted with an attorney. We intend to remedy this situation as the personal stress of these ongoing and unnecessary experiences have really taken its toll on me and my family. I sympathize with all of you out there. This letter will be mailed to the U.S. Department of Justice, Investigations Division, and the Inspector General in Washington, DC and to the BBB.
To the public at large: I welcome any advice from you. Also, I am here if you just want to vent. I know that together, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
