TCA Fulfillment/ Wheres My Rebate.com Over five months, lots of excuses and still no rebate. SCAM!! New Rochelle New York
In March 2004 I purchased a notebook computer from MDG in Toronto, Ontario. Along with this I got a SMC wireless router with a $50 rebate. All documention was submitted to TCA within a week and my rebate was denied (they stated it didnt apply to the router I purchased despite it stating clearly on the rebate form that it did). Mysteriously after numerous complaints and threats of further action my rebate was approved. Over the next few months I have called TCA at least 8 times and each time I have been given a date the rebate cheque is to be mailed. These dates come and go and no cheque arrives. I have also had to give my new address to TCA on at least three seperate occassions.
On July 26 I received an email that my cheque had been mailed and I would receive it in 8-10 days. It is now 17 days later and no cheque. I called TCA this morning to confirm they had my correct address (they did, finally) and was told if the cheque didnt arrive a new once could be issues in 60 DAYS!! Get real, its been over five months already. I think TCA makes it so difficult to get your rebate that many people just give up and TCA pockets the cash. I am very disatisfied with this company and will NEVER again purchase a product from any company that has any dealings with TCA. I have let MDG know this so lets see if I get a response.
