T.C.T. Recovery - Walter Ray Salmon Failed to pay $3,000.balance for purchase of an auto he repossed in Washington County, Elizabethton, Tennessee

Walter Ray Salmon, owner of T.C.T. Recovery, agreed to purchase a vehicle he repossed for me.
Our agreement was the balance of his purchase ($3,000.) was to be paid within 30 days.
However, Salmon failed to pay the balance and is now facing litigation. He played me for a chump.
Also, I had a P.I. do a background check of Salmon and he has a rap sheet over 117 pages and had done time in Florida. Salmon has been charged with offenses ranging for Larceny, B&E, theft, firearms violation, and parole violation.
Salmon IS a convicted FELON and has served time in FL.
My suggestion to any client: Do not extend any credit to him. Get cash for whatever he wants to buy.

Hey ,
I just wanted to say thank you for posting the complaint for it was very helpful to my cousin and myself .On mothers day 2012 we recieved numerous phone calls from walter salmon this went on from 4:30 pm until 1 o'clock am from walter .Walter was hired by a title loan company in south carolina on whitehorse rd to repo my cousins car .We had to call the police for supposedly he was in tennesse but we live outside of farmville va
.Walter threatened us said he had 3 guys outside of my house said he would get me for hindering if I let my cousin move the car from my property ,he was cursing as well so we called the police ,the police officer called him back and that's when the calls stopped until the early morning he called to let us know he knew we called the police on him .I decided to google his name and your report came up and the information you provided was
very helpful to us so I wanted to say thank you for posting!Although we couldn't go after walter it was a waste of time by the lawyers advice the company that hired him Carolina's best title loans on whitehorse rd in south carolila was the company that hired him and they have a title loan business in tennessee as well .Thanks again for posting and my advice to anybody that comes in contact with him RUN the other way he is a very unstable person very unproffessional as well !

Update on Walter Ray Salmon, Nov 9th 2010: An investigator was sent to the address Salmon listed as his residence and office.The address he listed, 603 Blue Springs Road,
Elizabethton, TN 37643 is bogus and no posting of number 603 could be found on Blue Springs Road. There is a IRS Federal Tax Lien filed 11-10-2009 at Dade County Circuit Court, Miami, FL in the amount of $146,172. The IRS serial number on the lien is: 595133709.
You may want to reconsider contacting T.C.T. Recovery and Walter Salmon to reposes anything. You might be placing yourself and your client at risk.
