TD Construction Tom Doran Fraudulent Work, Unethical, Liar, Unlicensed, Work not to code, dirty, smokes in customers house, messy Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

TD Construction, AKA Tom Doran was hired to do a master bath remodel with a custom tile shower and install hardwood floors throughout our house. Prior to Tom startinng the work we were very impressed. He was very responsive to emails or questions. Upon starting the work it all went down hill. Lie after lie and unethical and horrible work. Not one thing that was done was to code or close to an professional standards.
Tom smoked regulary in our house and thought it was perfectly fine to cut hardwood and tile INSIDE our house. Our entire house is filled with saw dust and tile dust. They refused to clean up and left a dumpster pile of garbage in our garage. Not one part of the work they did was to code. Ceramic tile was installed with silocone caulking, Hardwood floors were not nailed properly, no expansion gap was installed. Bare wires were left hanging out of the wall.
Plumbing Issues, drains not hooked up, toliet left on floor with no supply line and not bolted to floor with new wax ring. Custom Tile Shower Pan was not built anywhere close to code. It was made out of a sheet of backer board which is NOT waterproof. If shower would have been used major damage to house would have occured. No slope was installed on pan. 1/4 inch per foot is required. Our shower pan was 100% level.
No molding or quarter round was installed, numerous holes left in walls from being careless.

I am a company that has never received any negative feedback or negative comments before. I have always received positive responses from customers after the work was completed.
This home owner has harassed me from day one (I should not of even done the work from the beginning seeing the red flags from the start, but gave him the benefit of the doubt) He even harassed my past customers that I supplied phone numbers to him for references. He called them numerous times and continuously requested pictures from that as well, even called them late at night.
I do good work and have been doing this line of work for years and attended school as well for this profession. I do my work by code and withhold standards required for this line of work. This owner picked and picked and called and text me even before I started the work. When confronting him about the harassing calls and texts he apologized but soon after would started again. I even spoke to his wife regarding the enormous amount of texts and she responded with "hes just like that, don't take it personal". I feel this individual wasn't going to be happy regardless of who did the work and the quality of the work. I feel that he is just a very demeaning and critical person.
As far as the pictures are concerned. I do not smoke first of all and would not let any of my employees smoke in a customers house either. Secondly the other pictures are taken during construction and of course things are out of place. One of the pictures shows dings in the wood. Some of the wood planks had manufactures defects (I brought that to his attention as well) so that is not my fault. If I seen wood with defects during laying them I would relay a different one.
From the beginning I have text messages from the home owner stating he was happy with the work but when it came down to the final day to pay, he refused to pay. At that point I left the property and called the police to file a report. The police officer seen the most of the work was completed and advised me to take him to small claims court to get my final payment that I am entitled to.
