I signed up for the Teach Me Foreclosure 3-day training course to be held July 19-21, 2007 in Salt Lake City. The cost was $495. Before paying the money I asked what would happen if I was unable to attend those specific dates. I was told that the training would be offerred at least two to three more times before the end of the year and I could attend any of the upcoming classes.

Well, you guessed it. I couldn't the July class. I contacted the company every thirty days or so and each time they told me that classes would be scheduled soon.

The end of the year has come and gone and they have offerred no more classes in Utah. I requested a refund by phone and in writing only to be told that my request was being reviewed by their "Student Resolutions" department.

After I filed a BBB complaint the company finally responded. They said, ". . . you are not entitled to a refund. A refund is granted when a request is made within the three (3) day right of rescission period. . . Your request for a refund was not received within the three-day cancellation period."

An honest company would never make assurances that they would not keep. And if they did, they would simply return the purchase price!
