I bought a used car back in april with money received from my mothers death.I paid cash for this car a 2005 nissan maxima for just over 13000 total. When i purchased this car i bought it from the dealership because they advertise that they inspect all cars before selling them. The car came with an as-is warranty that was limited over 30 days.Just over a month after purchasing this car the clutch began to stick so i took it to the dealership to get it checked out and was told i needed a new clutch,a new clutch master plate, motor mounts and a host of other repairs that totaled just over three thousand dollars in parts and labor.    I could not afford all this so i said just fix the clutch right now and i will work on the rest later. They agreed and i paid 600 dollars for the parts and was told to come back in a few days when the parts arrived which i did.One week passes and i havent heard anything so i call them to get an update and they tell me the mechanic working on my car is on vacation and someone else is now working on the car and he is on lunchbreak but will call me back.Three hours pass and i decide to drive up to the dealership.I get there and the mechanic is behind the desk apologizing for not having time to call me but that we have another problem. He tells me in addition to all the other work i now need a flywheel and new gear shift assembly at just over 1000 dollars and that the transmission could be faulty.

At this point i decide to contact The general manager Brison Chu who avoids me sending his general sales manager Art Hill who sat and heard my story then tried to explain to me that all this could be my fault.Well that didnt help and he was not helpful so he leaves and sends in the pre-owned manager Billy Mrier who hears my story and acts as if he is willing to help .He even asked me what could be done to correct this.I stated that i just wanted a reliable vehicle comparable to the one i paid for and he agrees that he is willing to do that just let him look around and find something.

Over the next two weeks Billy Mrier would avoid me saying how he was still working on it or that he was at the auction right now.During this whole time they were still repairing the car i no longer wanted and Billy was just stalling me out until the car was ready. Two weeks pass and David Hooten the service manager calls me and says the car is ready and he would knock off most of the labor costs to help me out.Feeling frustrated and tired i reluctantly went and paid about 1800 dollars to find out that now the car makes a lot of noise when you try to go into third gear but there is nothing they can do about that.I just have to go from second to fourth gear.

About two weeks pass and the clutch starts sticking again and strands me on the highway.Luckily i was able to get over on the side of a very busy highway where i sat for 20 minutes waiting for this car to go into gear.I decide to take it to the dealership the next day to get it checked again. The next morning while driving the car loses its power. The radio stops working,no air,no inside lights,no taillights but the other things are working.I get to the dealership and they check all the fuses and they are all good so they say they arent sure but to come back the next day and they would go inside the dash to find out what the problem is.That was one week ago and i have been try ing to contact the general manager who wont call me back and i have even tried to contact the owners.

Not only can i not afford to pay for more costly repairs at a 90 dollar an hour labor rate but just how much money do you have to lose on a used car in this short amount of time.I refuse to take this kind of loss about 16000 dollars total.I tried to give these people a chance to make this right before i started reporting them to consumer affairs, the attorney general ,the bbb etc..I would love to hear from anyone with any similar problems with this company because like i said i cant take this kind of loss.
