Fortunately, this job was only for $40. We don't even take jobs like this typically, but we deal with several reputable online platforms and we figured this would be a way in the door and it was local. They simply don't pay or respond. I even got in touch with the buyer that assigned us the job, and they claimed to have paid tecdirect, but they never paid us. Complete ripoff, don't take any work from these guys. In case you don't believe us for whatever reason, below is a copy and paste of my "payment report". I'm frankly stunned the website, tecdirect.com, is even still up. Thought these cockroaches would have slithered back under the fridge by now:
