After more than five years as a top-selling artist on TeePublic.com, my account was summarily closed on December 19, 2021 after consecutive months of record sales. The notification from TeePublic stated that this was due to a "violation of our terms and conditions" and that I was welcome to contact them to discuss the matter. I immediately replied to the notification from their legal department, but didn't receive a reply. I followed up with both TeePublic's legal and community emails several times and to date, they have both simply ignored all communication and not provided a reply.
At the time my account was closed, I had sales proceeds due to me by TeePublic in excess of $11,000 and as of this writing, those monies have not been made available to me. TeePublic continued to complete online sales of products utilizing my artwork throughout the rest of 2021 and into 2022, the most recent being January 14, all while not providing artist compensation for those sales.
In addition to not paying the monies owed, TeePublic has continued to benefit from having my original artwork hosted on their website and in online advertising. Given TeePublic's refusal to provide so much as the courtesy of a reply to my inquiries, I have little interest in having my account restored at this point, but they do need to provide payment for the 4, 745 sales that were made, both prior to and after they closed my account.
Since TeePublic has chosen to be unresponsive, I'm now in communication with the Arizona Attorney General's office and speaking with counsel as what they're doing is wrong, and their actions won't go unchallenged.
