I never even heard of this company until they sent me bill. They said it was for a collect call I accepted charges. But I didn't. I called the number and its disconected, how can someone call me from a disconected phone? and I sure wouldn't accept a collect call, Tellecom couldn't even tell me where it came from this is bogus is a rip off.I think they are just send out bougus bills how many saps will pay? Its a scam.

Yes it is a scam! Telecom USA is still getting away with it! I got a bill from them in my husbands name and address in Aug. 2003(All our bills come in my name only!) I ammediatly call them and they said it was a computer error and bills were sent out to the wrong people and that we should not get another one next mouth. I continued to get a bill for three month and every month I got it, I called them. They also told me the phone number on the bill belong to a Richard, not my husbands name. (Phone no. Richard? Account No. my husbands name and address?) Doesn't make any since! My husband called the Phone number on the bill and it was disconnected. I was very upset and worried fearing Identy theift so I wrote a letter to CC: Federal Communications Commission / Federal Trade Commission Public Utilities Commission / President Public Utilities Commission CPUC - Consumer Affairs Branch The Better Business Bureau Phoenix, AZ / BBB of E. Missouri & S. Illinois Conclusion: November 24,2003 Letter from MCI (Telecom USA) Stated that the account was established in my husbands name with our address and account and did accrue charges. However, in an effort to resolve this issue, the account was canceled on Sept. 26, 2003 and MCI issued a credit of $ dollars, as full compensation of the disputed charges, Therefore, no further action is warranted. January 28, 2004 Letter from Federal Communications Commission: The FCC has now received a letter from the company about your complaint. The company should have sent you a copy of their letter as well. After reviewing the information in the letter sent from the company, we are closing your complaint file. Your informal Complaint (IC) file number and the date your case was closed are listed at the top of this letter. If the information in the company's letter is wrong, or if you did not get a copy of the company's letter, please contact the FCC at the addressed or phone number below. I wanted to screem the FCC believed MCI Telecom USA, What a lie! MCI Telecom USA told me on the phone it was not our bill, it was a computer error and then MCI Telecom USA tells the FCC it is our bill because of the name and address being ours. So does that mean I can go down the street to all my neighbors that I know and open an account in there names and addresses only? I fought this not because of money but because I could see what agony this could bring to innocent people. I lost but at least it is on record that this did happen.
