I have been held hostatge by Telepacific for over 1 1/2 years. I own a mortgage company that went from 30 employees to only 6. In Dec 2007 I called Telepacific to request a downgrade of my 32 lines. They have refused to do this while at the same time charging me full price for these lines. I had a 2 year contract that expired in July 2005. In spite of this they have not responded to my requests. I have a detailed contact report of all calls and contacts that include the date, time and person spoke to that spans over 18 months.

In addition their service does not allow local inbound calls to come to my office. This has caused great financial hardship because I advertise to create inbound calls that I never receive. The potential clients I have spoke to on my alternate cell phone number tell me that the phone rings and rings with no answer. I know this to be true because I live 2 miles from my office and when I call it just rings, even though I have people in my office ready to answer phone calls.

I have asked to have this year long problem fixed with no results. I finally decided to switch to Verizon. They transfered some lines but not all resulting in (2) monthly bills - one from Verizon and one from Telepacific - so for over 8 months I have been paying to (2) Phone companies bills. What a RIP-OFF!!!!! As of today after payng another $4600.00 to Telpacific. Verizon was finally able to move most of my lines - but Telepacific is still holdong my 2 main numbers and I can not received inbound calls from anyone.

I went to file a Small Claims action but itis limited to only $5000.00. If you are an attorney who knows how to sue this company - Telepacific - please call me - they have caused great financial harm to my company and I am fed up. And I need help. Also, I did file with the PUC and as usual with Government Agencies they did nothing to resolve my dilema with this horrible Company. Just phone bills have cost me over $35,000.00 - not to mention the loss of business.
