Lets SEE that paperwork!

Why do you say shame on the company? The employee was terminated with reason and paperwork (with even a previous notice) in a state that does not require cause.
You have no idea what the employee did in this situation and why he or she was terminated - so putting blame on the company is not appropriate.
Then the employee filed for unemployment, we responded and the claim was denied.
There is nobody to blame in this case - except maybe the employee for engaging in behavior that was not acceptable in the workplace.
In the future, our company will run full background and drug screening checks in order to further reduce the necessary terminations in the future.

This person's reply is why employers need to be very careful about who they hire. Here is a person that just wants to cause trouble. The unemployment claim has already been filed by the employee and was denied.

This is a reply from a TeleSource Center management representative. The person that wrote the article would not state their name or why he or she was terminated. When any employee is let go from the company it is for cause. And we have never lost an unemployment claim as well. So this post from an anonymous person without any real detail is simply not valid.

" Dont be suddenly left on your butt without a job, without cause"
Sorry to hear that you lost your job. I just wanted to mention that Oregon is an "at will" employment state. Employers do not have to have "cause" to terminate an employee.
Unless you had a contract or you're claiming discrimination as a member of a federal or state protected class, don't waste your money on lawyers.
