temp tec corp hired my welding company for a month to do work at LMU then when finished refuses to pay newbury park California
ive lived in Westchester for 49 years right next to Loyola Marymount University. So when I got a call from Victor Galvez, a contractor for Loyola Marymount University and asked for a bid on installation of pipe on both the Gerston and Malone buildings. And although I don't have a contractors license my bid for $8500.oo got the job and i was only asked to obtain insurance prior to beginning the work and would work under Victor Galvez license of Temp Tec Corp of Newbury Park. After securing insurance myself and a crew of 4 began working 12 to 14 hour days, seven days a week, for 4 weeks we undertook the dangerous task of fitting and welding 3 inch x 20 feet long pipe from the ground floor on the outside wall to the roof and across that roof then down the other side of the building with just a rickity scalfolting was verry dangerous and ask Galvez numerous times for a crane but was to cheap to get one but we did pull it off. Just as our job was almost finished 1 day left we were informed that LMU didn't want steel pipe, they wanted copper. So they hired Temp tec again anther contract and not to mention the demolition of the steel pipes we put in Tem Teck got that contract for that too.So we were all done When i gave Victor Galvez are bill he told me he was only going to pay half the bill because he said we destroyed the roof i looked were he said and me and men had not even been to that side of the building yet and if i did do it i would have my insurance pay it so then he tells me my welds didnt look good then he told me we didnt complete the job every time i tried to get payed it was always something But now LMUs contractor Victor Galvez Temp Tec Corp of Newbury Park says he doesn't have to pay me if I don't have a contractors license, when at the begining i told him i didnt have one and just told me to get insurance but offers me 40% of the $8500.oo and not going to pay me my expenses that were over $1400 and extra work he made us do at $2000 at the very begining he said to save all receipts and i would be reinbursted for everything i purchased, and at first he wanted me to supply every thing but i told him i could not do that now i no why he wanted me to supple everything is because he was going to rip me off from the get go .When i tried to get payed from Galvez he then stops answering my calls. now he says he isnt going to pay me anything and got a letter from some hot shot lawyer saying i dont get anything and if i call again he will call the police on me what a great scam by Temp Tec Corp and LMU knows whats going on i showed them eevidence ofme telling them i didnt have a contractors license and the extra work that we did and reciepts

After Seven Months the lawyers from Greg's Portable Welding and Temp Tec Corporation have come to a settlement outside of court, as of September 30, 2014 Temp Tec corporation has agreed to pay Greg's Portable Welding in the amount of $6500.00.

After seven months of lawyers communicating from Greg's Portable Welding and Temp Tec Corporation both compaies have come to a agreemnet and settled out of oourt. As of Tuesday September 30, 2014 Temp Tec Corporation has settled and has agreed to pay Greg's Portable Welding for the amount of $6500.00.
