All you have to see is the sheer preponderance of negative reviews on Yelp to know Tender Dental (aka Kevin "Martin" Tender Dental, aka Tender Dental Group, aka Tender Dental and Oral Surgery, aka Las Vegas Oral Surgery, aka Monica Renee Ponce DDS, aka Kevin Martin, DDS) is shady at best, and possibly the leading scam dental office in greater Las Vegas, Nevada. No small feat if you're at all familiar with dental offices throughout Las Vegas. This kind of Dental Office gives the entire dental profession a cavity. The front desk people, technicians, and even dentists will lie to your face to generate an invoice and then slap a bill on you so fast you won't know what hit you, literally.
My wife went in for a second opinion, and we inquired in advance if there were charges? We were told absolutely and unequivocally no charges would be applied unless we utilized their services. Eighteen months later we find $100.00 in collections attached to all three credit bureaus from Martin Tender Dental (aka Tender Dental) for what they claim were X-rays. This kind of (and I use the term lightly) medical facility is the lowest of low scam artists that prey on people's trust. Then they turn their words into an invoice and hope you'll pay to remove the derogatory remarks from your credit bureau, which they quickly slap on all three major bureaus (e.g. Equifax, Experian, and Transunion).
There is nothing issued in writing at Tender Dental, so they are free to intimidate you for the small (and large) amounts if you read all the reviews. This Dental Office should be ashamed of themselves and the American Dental Association, and Insurance Companies (e.g. Delta Dental) should also be ashamed to be affiliated with such a disreputable dentist.
Yes, there is a Kevin "Martin" DDS who owns Martin Tender Dental along with Monica Renee Ponce, and they have three offices. One located at 7670 W. Lake Mead Blvd # 130, Las Vegas, NV 89128. The others located at 5001 East Bonanza Road, Suite 160 Las Vegas, NV 89110, and 5230 Boulder Highway, Suite 130 Las Vegas, NV 89122.
Believe me when I tell you that there is nothing tender about Martin Tender Dental. Consumer Beware, Monica "Renee" Ponce also feigns as the bookkeeper and will lie to your face when billing issues are concerned. Make sure to record or get her to put everything in writing. However, I would steer clear of this Dental Office completely to avoid the controversies you will find yourself in after a simple second opinion visit, or for that matter any visit.
