Terrence Paulin ripoff con-artists took us for all we had Forest Hill Maryland
We were contacted by this person through a mutual friend who said that he could secure a rather large loan for a commercial project we were entering into.
We were trying to get a 2.3 million dollar project funded for a resort. Mr. Paulin set up this very slick package, telling us that he has done business with professional basketball player Michael Jordan (a 15 million dollar hotel deal), and that he was in the middle of a 30 million dollar deal in Santee, South Carolina, partnering with another soon-to-be acquaintance of ours (I'll leave her name out for the moment).
He sent us a "contract" stating that he would need $10,000.00 to attract the "right lenders" and that he guaranteed us in writing that he would return the entire amount if he couldn't secure a loan package within 60 days from the date on which we sent the check.
We trusted this mutual friend very much and so sent the check. From that point on, we got nothing but ignored telephone calls, emails, and, in most cases, direct lies from Mr Paulin about his activities. It has been almost two years, and we have never gotten any satisfaction from him.
We probably never will. So for all of you who may run into him - He is a black man, approximate age - 40's, small stature, out of shape, speaks somewhat softly, with a moustache.
We have since come into contact with 5 other people that he has bilked collectively over $100,000.00 from, over a 5 state area, and yet the FBI says that they can do nothing to stop it.
If you know of this person, or have any contact with him, DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY WHATSOEVER!!! I can give you the telephone numbers and contact information of the other 5 people that he has ripped off and let them tell you their own stories.
I would also like to get revenge on this person legally, so, if you have any input, please reply to this ripoff report.

How are you?? Sorry to hear about what happened to you. To date, have you received any return on your investment?? I think I may have gotten taken to the wood shed also!! Any info you have on Terrence would be helpful in my attempts retrieve my investment. Thanks
