Following a direct deposit error, Texans Credit Union's sytem failed to notify me of a "balance below $XX" that was set up.  Not only did this fail, to date, I have never recieved any SNAIL mail (paper) regarding the NSF fee charges.  I did not receive any email notification at all regarding the fees being assessed to my account.  The bill pay feature sent an automated email requesting my attention for the bill pay feature.  It was only then I realized the 14+ NSF fees that were charged.  Texans refused any responsibility for the failure to communicate.  They have not acknowledged any failure to communicate on their part and have changed "protocol" or "methods" several times to confuse the siutation.  At the time of writing this, I am still arguing up the chain of command for resolution, meaning, reimbursement for some/all fees considering this would never have happened to this extent if the communication methods promised would have worked.  This is an atrocity.  Texans has zero customer service.  The "upgrade" to the banking system in Aug 2012 is a disaster.  The previous system was much more reliable and much better for the customer...probably a reason they upgraded.

This sounds less like the bank and more that your mad. Overdrafts happen. Reguardless of the fact that you didnt get a alert, it was still your responsabilty to manage your money. Even if they did send snail mail, it wouldnt have mattered. The charges would have been applied anyways. The best ANY comunication would have done is allow you to get there and put some money in and stop the charges. You can complain all you like. The fact still remains that you have over draft charges. Fighting it isnt going to make it so you dont have to pay for what is in reality YOUR MISTAKE!!!!! Pay them off, then either close the account, or remove the overdraft protection. Then watch your money better.

This isnt a ripoff report item. Its you complaining because you have to pay for your mistakes.
