Texas Lease Houses Allied Brokerage Services They closed shop overnight and stole investor's money Watauga, Texas
I hired Texas Lease Houses back in June of 2009 to manage my property. Their job was to collect rent from the tenant, and deposit the money into my account. Every month, they kept getting later and later. Finally, they didn't pay me for the past 2 months. So, I went to their office and found that they had moved completely out of the office overnight!
I found the owner's name and found that his real estate license was inactive. His name is Matthew Misczak and his license number is 591726. Do your research if you're looking for a reliable property management company and ask what their license number is. Do your homework. I didn't, and it cost me $4,100.
My goal now is to find a good attorney and try to collect some of the money that Mr. Misczak has stolen from me. As I am sure there are MANY investors that lost out on this guy, and that a class action lawsuit may be in order.

I don't know this person but we have to gather somewhere and he stepped up to the plate. Contact him if you think it will help your fight.

I posted a longer reply on the earlier complaint but wanted to repost some of it here as well so I don't miss anyone.
Bless you whoever posted this information. I'm in the same spot but I'm in California and can't go looking for them. They owe me over 3,000 and I haven't seen a cent in months either.
some of what I want to see done:
Find a lawyer to sue them. Their Officers and Directors are: Manager: Shawn Lewis Directors: Shawn Lewis and Steven Davis II. I believe that Davis is a lawyer in Dallas that specializes in DWI defense, but I'm not certain about that yet.
find a consumer action line at a DFW local TV or radio station
Please join me in putting these crooks in jail. I have spent countless hours stressed out in the 14 months I have been associated with them and I just can not let them walk away without at least trying to make them answer for their crimes.
I have contacts in the Texas Comptroller's office if I pull in some favors but I don't know any lawyers. If we band together, maybe we can help each other but it looks like we will have to move fast.
