I am going to submit a copy of the email I sent back to TexPIRG today after they let me go from my position today. I could just be really upset about being fired. I have never been fired from a job ever before in my life and always try to exceed hard and learn my way from the bottom up to the top. Maybe I am upset or maybe I have a real valid reason to be upset. Let me know what you think:

To TexPIRG. Submitted earlier today online.

I believe in what you do as a company, but the way you treat people in this hard economic time is horrible. You hire any one, even people that really need jobs, pay them minimum wage, ask them to walk all day, and then when they do and get a contribution this is what happens. Let me explain it as I saw it: You hire any one because everyone is looking for a job right now, we are desperate to earn money the right way. You show them how to canvass neighborhoods for the good and better cause that is amercia and democracy. You use change and president Obamas name to motivate and create urgency. Bam, you sold us, we are in, we want to make this a better worl. So then you have them work their butts off in the sun passing out pamphlets, getting postcards signed, and asking people to give us money for our cause. Most people are stating that they are unemployed and that they are on the brink of being homeless and yet we are asking for them to pay for your efforts. You walk around and and hear that all day. You get back to base and everyone is excited over your $100 contribuation and everyone was excited to see you come back that next day. At the end of the next day. Day two comes around and once again, everything is motivating, great and exciting. You get your own route, feel in control of life and working hard to earn the valuable contributions from citizens like myself to help such a great cause. Today after talking to even more people than the day before, you only bring in $16, and 24 postcards, knocked on over 100 doors, spoke to over 50 people, you are told that it was not going to work out between you and this company. Money really can make people and companies do some bad things. This person, needed that job, enjoyed it, and it was not a joke to work for them. THat person felt like they were a part of something good. Now that person is confused because it does not know if something that great can treat another human being that is making an honest effort that poorly. Have fun and I wish you all the luck. Please make a difference, but also learn to hire and treat people like they would like to be treated. Do not use any more hardworkders and throw them on the street. By the way, Alejandro did NOT make $211 on tuesday night to have a hot night. $100 of that came from a new girl however Alejandro took credit for it. How sick is this company, that is lame.
