I filed a rebuttal to the charges in writing on June 2, 2006. I believe that should have been enough time to have someone contact me with some type of findings but of course this has not happened to date. I also came into your office on 3 October 2006, but was told that you were out. I left my name and number at the front desk. I do not have a number to contact you at personally and I refuse to waste another minute of my time dealing with your employees on the phone. If you really want to resolve this you now have my number, I am just as busy as you are and can not run down to your office every day. If I do not answer my phone it does have call waiting and I will call you back.

I am still waiting for the individual to come in to review the file. No one has contacted me reference this issue that I am aware of. As for specific charges I would need the individuals name an former address in order to review the file. I the wish to contact me the may use me email or phone. And yes I do require requests to be in writing so that the file may be researched and reviewed prior to my meeting.

I am amazed that it took this web site to get someone's attention. I have been into the lovely Texstar office numerous times and I get the same answers. I spoke with an employee and she said she would get me an appointment with the inspector. Not happened to date. I then came back in and was told I had to file my complaint in writing. Filed the complaint in writing. Still have not been contacted by Texstar. That was almost 3 weeks ago. The only reason I haven't been back in is because I am currently on leave-and since the owner of Texstar is a former Soldier I am sure he knows what that means. Texstar must of lost my number, and by the way if a 90 dollar lawn mowing job doesn't seem excessive than I guess maybe I need a better job, because as the owner should know the Army doesn't pay for those kinda perks. I will take the owner up on his offer for a meeting and come in to Texstar with this report as soon as my vacation is over.

The fees that are charged do not seem to be excessive. From what the past tenant states it would seem that the carpet cleaning and the maint/repair were closed on estimates. This procedure is normally done because we often do not have the invoices back from the contractor. When the final invoice comes in, a revision will be completed. Any credit that the past tenant has will then be refunded. I would be more that happy to sit down with this individual to review the closing statement. As for not being soldier friendly... well everyone is entitled to an opinion. The fact is that 91% of the properties that I manage are owned by SOLDIERS, I was a soldier and so was my wife as well as my step-daughter and my son-in-law. I deployed to Saudi and was in the Gulf war. So I won't accept that cry of unfair. These owner's (soldiers) deploy or are assigned to a duty station in Germany, Korea, or across the country, and have the expectation that their property will be the same as when they return. We allow for fair wear but the absentee owners (soldiers)have tasked us with maintaining what may very well be the largest investment during their military career. Again please have the soldier contact me at the office and I will be glad to review his close-out with him.
