I think Robert works for Fridays personally. And if any of you read enough of these reports to know who she is or might be as an alias you have no life!
As for the restaurant I have eaten there and am not that impressed. And yes it was late night in the bar. I have kids in college, my kids would not act like that to customers because they have class and maturity. I personally do not excuse a college student for acting poorly late at night to customers. TGI Fridays has a brand they want to look and feel the same at every store. If they act rude then well that lessens the brand! The community here at least on this comment thread… you disgust me and your comments have no value based on your lack of compassion or manners.
As for late night pickup. maybe a deliver service that picks up at fridays would work better for you.

I started working for this fridays over 2 months ago. the same people work there now that served this person. This is the best resturant i have worked at in terms of customer satisfaction. The Resturant industry is filled with emotion filled people who care about their guest. The only way I see them giving you a hard time is if you are giving them a hard time. As you may know Waterford lakes is in orange county florida. over two years ago a man was robbed at gun point leaving the establishment. do you think that management is going to want to put their loyal employees in that kind of danger, late at night? Plus on the weekend Fridays closes at 2.. during the week they close when it starts to get slow during the late hours. If you are coming in there at 1 o'clock and staying a long time (i have no idea) i would get upset, and impatient. This is a college town, and most of the employees that work at fridays are students. they have classes early, and if you come extremely late with high demands then I'm sorry if these servers are getting impatient. This sounds as if you go in there quiet often, and you do the same thing all the time. Try to treat others how you want to be treated. Never would an employee at this establish treat anyone unfairly.

from all the way up here. In fact, I will be so bold as to say that they are probably top notch since they seem to piss you off so much for no reason whatsoever. The only common denominator in all your fraudulent complaints against various eating establishments is you - the female charles.

also wanted to add to this situation....that upon entering the last time to this place, my friend stated that he saw the hostess whisper something to the waitress who literally harassed our table and us.... for people who seem tot hink all this is ok... they are abusers as well...how would you like it if for being a good customer, or just a custome rperiod you are being harassed abused and yelled at by an establishment/restaurant for no reason at all....and then banned from the place...just for trying to file a complaint with corporate....you would think people are protected from this kind of injustice and ridiculous horrible treatment but they're not--- the 'restaurant' has the right to refuse service to whoever they 'do not like' for no reason at all and have the right to slander that person lie about them further pick on them and try to basically cause them so much hell and unnecessary grief simply for being a custoemr of this corrupt and disgenuine establishment. I will also say in this situation....the 'director of operations' ended up calling my mother this morning to ask her about who 'jen smith' was....my mother panicked and just made up a story about how jen smith was my roommate-- ok yes that was stupid...but based on that-- the corporate guy--decided to use his good two sense that he learned in pre school, call me up-- ask me who jen smith was...and then say taht he stands by the psycho male manager of the tgi friday's at waterford lakes who has now lied about me to my mother and to corporate, and basically to everyone and can get away with all his lies.....several times i've been to taht restaurant...and witnsesed that manager just 'pissed off' angry or upset seemingly at my presence...ie the moment i walk in and he notices me....so just because psychopath 'tony' at tgi friday's has a problemw ith 'me' for no reason...because i asked him to bring an order out to me...and he refuses, it's ok for him to slander me regularly to everyone around me....to corporate along with the bullying management staff there...and completely get away with their wrong and sick actions....becase no one is monitoring their lies or them....they are allowed to do what they want to a customer, treat them badly, lie about them allow their staff to abuse them regularly then refuse service to them....this kind of abuse is completely ok for them to do because they are 'employees' of the restaurant...and corporate stands by their criminal actions and behavior....but the customer who this is happening to who has done nothing wrong...except just be a regular customer...and is a chronically sick person who has been yelled at mistreated and abused regularly, has no say no rights no credibility and is then further treated ridiculously by the 'corporate offices' who are jerks as well....it's scary to me how corporate went to the manager who said "there was no harassment"-- is this really happening....then came back and said "well the manager said there was no harassment"...huh? it's like a customer complaining that a manager sexually harassed them,and the ignorant corrupt corporate saying "oh he said there was no harassment"... is this corporate really that stupid or that bad or corrupt? society is full of these kinds of sick disturbed bullies and deranged nasty people..so you will find many losers vouching for thie kind of behavior-- they seem to get off on picking on others and probably laugh at the situation....because for them it's pleasure to do this to another human being...what this TGI friday's has done is not just abuse bullying mistreatment...to me it is so outlandish it is shocking because no one seems to care that an entire corporate office and chain of restaurants can do this to 'one innocent customer' who has done nothing wrong...and nothing to anyone but not only has taken the abuse of the nasty immature employees there, but continues to have ot endure this kind of sick abuse from them as well as the slimy sleazy snakes that work for TGI friday's corporate. Youw ould expect so much better from a large food chain,....customer service today is "Bad" there is no respcet for anyone anymore-- managers can be really bad...incompetent, snakes, liars, bullies, but situations lkie this...where corporate is doing exactly what the corrupt staff is doing to an innocent customer, is something that should just not be tolerated on any level..

what kind of corporation is this...and how can they get away with doing this to customers or any human being? it seems lkie the corporate is doing to me exactly what the staff did to me-- trying to pick and nitpit on you or pathologize u for any little thing...and then justifying abuse and discrimination against you...constantly claiming you have a 'sprained ankle'.. the person also called me from 'unavailble' and they made it an issue to call me....and tell me....like in a cold way.....not only that htey don't care-- but indirectly that their decision was in regards to me sending out 'fake email names' or that im a liar ro not credible for sending out complaints under 'other names' and that they stand by the abusive restaurant's decision to not serve me.... where are your rights in this country-- you have none....if these crazy sick people decide they do not like you ro want to make things difficult for you or abuse/discriminate against you in this way-- i will also say i am a very beautiful female who seems to stands out....and jealousy can or may play a huge part in the way i am treated so badly...in a situation like this... whereas the staff begin noticing you come in regularly and begin making it their right to pick on you, give you a hard time or treat you in a derogatory way...or keep hounding you on a statement you made about having a 'sprained ankle over a month prior." Even teh so-caleld 'director of operations" seemed to be either playing head games or trying to mess around wtih you-- he said "why do you think they do this to you"--the manager 'tony' who first brought my order out-- to me with no problem, the next time was harassing and yelling at me claiming "I BROUGHT YOUR ORDER OUT TO YOU LAST TIME"... why is something like this even allowed to happen to an innocent person ...on this huge level....this is not fair...this is extreme and severe injustice and discrimination..... and to the manager-- i totally understand....their refusal to bring an order out to a customer---that is their right.. but the situation is not with regards to that....because their staff has brought food otu to me many times in the past-- they do have a right to change that and not bring the food out-- but they do not have to abuse me or mistreat or yell at me with regards to it...and the situation in this case isn't about bringing the food out-- it is about their attitudes and behavior towards me while i dine in and while talking to me.... I go into the rsetaurant around 12...or later....and the issue isn't with that but with the dine in experience and waitresses or servers harassing the customer and the managers being rude.....the manager who refused the food out to me...did so after the previous time he brought it out....and the time he refused, he ended up yelling at me and even claiming "he brought the order out to me...the last time" no one should also have to be forced to go during certain times to accommodate the staff....the situation makes no sense... and theer is just a lot of discrimination and mistreatment involved....

Ok... after filing these complaints....I never went back to the restaurant out of fear of something bad happening to me obviously. Recently, I had a parent go inside to pick up an order-- there was never any mention of "person isn't allowed back or we refuse to serve person"....I have frineds who aer managers who state first off....if you are a regular customer...etc..etc...obviously. This is not a situation of a person complaining or being a problem customer...if it was I would willingly admit...yes you know what...ive complained a lot, ive been a problem customer....even then...a 'bad' customer would not deserve the kind of ill treatment I have received by the horrible staff there....no customer or human desreves that kind of bad treatment and abuse....in my case I have been a very 'good' customer who went there on a regular basis and encountered a ton of negativity bad treatment, yelling and abuse. You would think that a corporate...would be angry about this...or care...or have some intelligence sense of customer service or sense of anything....generally large corporates do-- My mother went inside the restaurant to pick up an order and wanted to 'get to the bottom of this" she spoke to the manager...the manager explained to her "oh we can never please her and she always complanis about the food"....this is an outright lie and slander... maybe in 4 months I have complained 'twice' about the chicken being too hard, and in fact have never complained about the food, the problem began when I claimed I had a 'sprained ankle"....my mother came back to tell me the story-- of how the manager told her....all these lies about me.. and I said of course he's going to say that to make me look bad....and that is not the truth at all.... I called corporate immediately. I had alraedy sent corporate 6-7 letters under an 'alias' name....and my phone number....corporate instead of lookign at the situation....like...ok our employees are treating someone badly....instead were saying "why are u sending emails under 'jen smith" huh? are you joking me corporate? we filed a complaint yesterday adn I was called back today. THe person on the phone--claims to have 'talked to the manager'....and manager claims "there was no harassment"-- what do u expect the mgr to say ...yes we treated her badly? corporate took the liars word.... over a customer who has been treated this badly....the guy called me from corporate today...based on the fact taht I stated they are 'psychos' and 'hostile' tgi friday's corporate instead of asying you know what....why are they doign this to you-- has said "why do you want to go back there"! Omg....can you imagine a corporate doing this to a customer? I had not been back to friday's snice the 'harassing' incident... I had my friend say to me "if you ever need a witness to the msitreatment, just call me." the problems started the moment I claimed that "i haev a sprained ankle" i had been treated badly by the staff due-- now due to the fact that friday's had 'never had a store want to ban a customer like that" they are not even taking my side of the situation... and listening to teh manager-- 'tony' this bald white guy who has been slandering me constantly...this is beyond shocking to me....I can see a small family owned restaurant-- doing this to a customer... but not a huge corporate....after being mistreated, harassed, yelled at and abused for 'havign a health condition' and 'being a regular customer'.... they are listening to the liars/managers who are making up things about me and don't even care that this has happened to a customer for absolutely no reaosn. they claimed "oh the manager said there was no harassment"....waht do u expect the manager to say "oh yes we treated her badly"...what is going on here? i also have a witness to teh bad treatment...and this is something that is so bad I can't even describe it... I have never been a manager before, but what has happened to me is not only abuse, discrimnation, it is constnat abuse for no reason and constant lies and discrimination....the guy I spoke to from corporate....sounds like the jerks on this website who say "why do u keep going back if you're being treated badly" rather than rectifying the situation....they are abusing the customer too....they seem to just want to cause you problems and treat you in the most derogatory horrendous way possible..... the 'director of operations'....can you believe....the 'head person' called me and asid to me "you stated they are psychos and hostile-- so why would you want to go back there"? I said why do you care what name I send this under or if my mother said I was her roommate-- huh? (what does that have to do w/ the situation or are u trying to make me out to be a liar)?...the phone cut out-- and I called 'guest relations back"....they said "oh u have to take this up with the rsetaurant and we stand by their decision"-- you stand by their decision to harass an innocent female customer with severe chronic fatigue for no reason and ban and abuse that customer for no reason whatsoever and listen to managers who are making up lies about her? the lady said "oh yes you've spoken to our director already and he's made his decision"....they were so rude....and the lady hung up on me....not frinedly...nasty people and the worst corporaet you can find ever....TGI friday's not only allows horrendous abuse and harassment of chronically sick people...and women....and stands by their 'Psycho" management team who does this wrongly to innocent customers for no reason-- but they corporate are sick people too who sit by doing the same thing to teh customer.... the 'director of operations"...sounded like he was 20 smoething...and apparently has no customer service skills managerial skills or skills whatsoever to make such a sick and unfair decision...even worse to attempt to pathologize me for sending emails out under a different name...huh? u are allowed to file complaints under whatever name you want...nor does ti take away from anyone's credibility--- I said "yes I sent the email under an alias name"....he said "your mother claims she's your roommate-- i said...what the heck is going on here and why does that even matter"? I have never heard of something so bad and crazy...from a corporate....this is so shocking to me....and I am still going to try to fight this because it is unfair ridiculous...and I even wonder if they are wanting you to fight it-- it seems they are just diong this to you-- for some sick reason deep wtihin themselves-- they may want you to beg grovel or just cause you unnecessary unneeded pain and grief.... there has to be someone above that person...because the person I spoke with-- sounded almost like a teenager, immature and seemed like he was playing games too....and his claims that "i sent emails under a fake name" make no sense-- how can you attack an angry annoyed custoemr by claiming they are sending fake names out under anonymous complaints- dont u care abotu teh nature of the complaint...not the 'name' it was sent under? even worse...he called me...and my phone cut out-- he then called back and claimed "someone hung up on him" huh? why is he claiming someone hung up on him if the phone cut out-- how can a 'head director do or say something like that"... what is going on here...if anyone can be of any help... please.... help.... what kind of corporation is this...and how can they get away with doing this to customers or any human being?

I have been a General Manager for several family oriented restaurants, and worked my way there from being a waitress as teenager. I have been in many other professions including sales. Nothing is more important to a manager in the restaurant than the satisfaction of their customers and providing them with a meal they will remember and enjoy. We managers strive to make sure that a customer has a very pleasant experience. However, you make mention of this many times, and that is that you like to frequent TGIFriday's late at night, sometimes after 1 am. Many times, that is when someone who was in my capacity as General Manager had to make a call regarding certain things or events which could take place and decide on what would be in the best interest of my employees, of whom I am responsible for. That is like this, at this moment, I am on the Gulf Coast side of Florida. We have a Dunkin Donuts and a McDonald's here which both have a drive thru open 24/7. However as much as some would like to go inside and sit down to have their meal or their cup of coffee, this poses a risk to the people working inside that late at night. The doors of these establishments are tightly locked and the police are aware of which businesses practice this and patrol frequently. As a female myself over the years I have worked as a shift manager for a Dunkin Donuts and worked the 10 pm -8 am shift alone frequently. The store I worked in ( in a state outside where I am currently) had their dining room open 24/7. I had a male customer who was high on drugs try to sexually assault me. After he was picked up by the police, I find out he had been arrested for doing this same thing at another establishment a year or two before. I can't over emphasize safety to my staff and going outside at this time of night to bring food out to a customers car is plain dangerous. Not only because of wack jobs like the one that tried harming me but often because a female waitress is a good target to become a robbery victim. Establishments like TGIFridays and their counterparts...Applebee's,Chili's and Ruby Tuesday's usually work on a system where their waitresses carry a $75 drawer (to make change), their checks and the cash to settle them and whatever they make in tips. At the end of the shift they turn in their checks and settle them and the $75 cash they were originally given. They keep everything over. I know in my waitressing days ( more than 20 years ago) on a busy night, I often had more than $400 cash on me.I would never want to have an employee risk their life to bring a takeout order into the parking lot at 1 am. While we who work in the restaurant business want our customers to have a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience, we are also responsible for employee safety. I know too may managers who have to close up and make bank deposits at 3 am, pizza delivery drivers and cabbies who have to carry a gun, their fear of being robbed and assaulted is so great. May I suggest if you don't like the policy of this particular restaurant in regards to curbside takeout at 1 am to try going a little earlier like before 11 pm?

this TGI fridays...is a horrible place..with abusive people... i will state again .. everytime I have gone the past month I have been embarrassed to place my order.. the servers get annoyed and will say my order before i even order it just 'annoyed' and very loud...liek "MMMMM HMMM UH HUH U WANT THIS THIS AND THAT" and annoyed and almost like...HMPH SIGH PFFF...'oh gawd not again" they are mean and rude abuot it--and aggressive...as if they have the right to have an opinion on what u order and treat you in this way... they have 'no right' being this way.... they began getting annoyed weeks ago because I began frequenting the place a lot and became familiar with me...and though at first they were decent suddenly the staff started becoming very rude and acting strange....the managers are sick immature weird crazy people who got 'annoyed' because twice ive asked my order to be brought out to my car....and they claimed they coudn't for safety reasons-- that to TGI fridays-- first harassing and interrogating someone with a serious health condition... then refusing them curb side service is grounds for constant abuse and mistreatment....in fact the jerk manager 'tony' or whatever his name was was trying to say to me...well you come in here FOUR TIMES A WEEK but u can't come inside to pick up yuor order? not only was he questioning my reasoning for the order to be brought out and my illness, he was basically acting as if I was making up the entire story and didn't want to go inside. I wasnt going to explain to this jerk my health situation...nor did i have to-- nor was it any of his business...that is not any way for a manager to act...he was belligerent angry abusive and mean....and even said "I BROUGHT YOUR ORDER OUT LAST TIME TO YOU" so what? what is that supposed to mean.. you brought your order out to me...before so you can't now...am I supposed to be thankful to you for bringing my order out last time.. huh? They have brought my order out to me with no problem for 3 months now...then suddenly they started making an issue out of it...and lying and getting mean angry and abusive...these ppl were crazy and weird to me.... another manager 'jessica' is a psychopath too and seemed erally weird and mean....and kept saying "ohhhhh for "safety" reasons...but she had no reason..and was not willing to accommodate a customer with a serious illness....and refused-- even then so....their refusal is wrong...and grounds enough for corporate to do something along with the male manager's unfounded 'anger' towards a customer requesting to have an order brought out to them.. and not even their refusal but their reasoning...especially when it had been done for months with no problem.. but even that isn't the worst or even the problem..now on top of that abuse-- the managers---annoyed i once claimed i had a 'sprained ankle' with the hopes of having my order brought out to me.. are ridiculously harassing the customer everytime they go in along wtih their crazy immature staff? They have no right doing this to anyone...because someone once claimed they had a sprained ankle-- what kind of low life bullies and psychos are tehse.... i can't imagine ever doign that to anyone...and for such a stupid reason....how dare they.... on top of all that abuse-- everytime i attempt to place an order-- the children/teenage rude nasty wait staff...already have it memorized....and will just say it before i order it rudely loudly, in a way to make me look bad embarrass me or make me feel bad...for ordering what i want to....basically at this hellhole horror nightmare of a 'friday's'-- you are not allowed to ask for curb side service without getting harassed and abused and yelled at, u are not allowed to claim you have a sprained ankle to get the already abusive staff to bring your order out to you and God forbid you do claim you have a sprained ankle the psychopaths will harass you everytime u go there about it--ie despite you being a good customer and going there multiple times a week---this is not just harassment/discrimination/abuse...it is cruelty imo... they have no right picking on a customer in this way and for these reasons or for any reason....and to top it all off, now if you go-- the psychotic crazed females, sorry insult to females the b itches that work there who are dogs and animals....will begin yelling at you for no reason, harassing you--and your entire table, ruining your dining experience, again for once a month prior claiming you have a 'sprained ankle'...and continuously in a deranged manner keep hounding you about it everytime yuo go and having the management team back up their aggrsesive horror behavior---in fact the manager said something about "not taking what the person said correctly" or misinterpreting it--misinterpreting someone yelling at you and making rude statements? was that bi tch ok? words can't describe how bad this is....but they get away with it and nothing is done and corporate doesn't care? in my situation even worse i am a chronically ill person who is frail and petite and can't raise my voice, defend myself or speak up or talk back...and the psychos that work there are bullying you in an aggressive and hostile manner and yelling at you for no reason and their sick managers are not only letting them get away with it but they are probably even telling them to do it-- this is probably the worst chain ever...to even do this to someone on this level and get away with it.... I have contacted corporate with at least 5-6 emails/letters...and gotten no response....I am frightened to even step foot in that place again....it's scary to know that as a citizen you are not protected from abuse and verbal hostility from employees at any restaurant and they and the managers are allowed to treat you in a derogatory way and bully you in this manner as well...where on earth is corporate in this situation... does it have to go to a lawsuit or is TGI fridays abusive employees protected by law from customers they are abusing and harassing on a regular basis because they are disturbed and sub-human immoral individuals with nothing better to do than bully innocent female customers....

I was wondering when we would hear another one of your wonderful "stories" Mellissa(now ...). As always you never disapoint in providing a bit of humor during the day. I just love how you are a loyal customer who always goes to these places even though you are constantly "harrassed". Though this line really is a classic. "...instead of being nice to a regular customer, they begin getting annoyed.." I wonder why they get annoyed when they see you...Lets think about this shall we. Could it be that you have unreasonable demands? Could it be that you constantly complain? Could it be that you feel that every female is jealous? Could it be that you feel that management are jerks? Could it be the dozens of phone calls you make to the corporate headquarters? I do feel sorry for any of the resturants in Orlando that have to deal with you on a regular basis. And you really do need to take advice that has been given to you in the past. Perphaps the only one being a jerk in these situations is you.

Are you EVER going to run out of restaurants to complain about? Seems to me that you are the only person on this earth that cannot set foot into a single restaurant without being "abused" and "harassed". You may want to think about learning how to cook...just sayin'.
