Clean Green Bag Company Jeff & Amanda Bell Clean Green Bags stole $2717.50 from rural KY library Sudbury Massachusetts
In November, 2007 our county library contacted the Clean Green Bags company via their website. We wanted to order bags so the patrons could use for books instead of the environmentally unsafe plastic bags. They sent us samples, we corresponded back and forth. We placed an order for 4000 bags at a cost of $5435.00. A 50% deposit was required. We sent them $2717.50 in December 2007. A few months later, we contacted because no bags, no contact, etc. They said because of factory problems in China, order was waiting to be shipped, etc. Finally in May we started investigating their company. They have had 3 complaints with the BBB now for non-delivery, no response to complaints, etc. Their website is "no longer" accepting orders. Their emails bounce back. Most of the phone numbers associated with this residential address have been disconnected. We sent fax, no response. We sent certified letter, no response. We filed a complaint with the FBI for internet fraud. We also have now filed a 30-day request for refund as required by Massachusetts law. After that, our county attorney will be seeking 3x the amount as allowed by Massachusetts law. Do not do business with them as you will be ripped off!

This posting is no longer valid, they were refunded 100% for their order in a timely fashion. The issue with this transaction was the shipment was delayed for reasons outside of our control. We strive to provide a quality service at competitive rates.
