The DigitalNerds They advertise one thing on line, then when they confirm your order, they will try to sell you extra stuff at an exorbitant price. If you try to cancel they charge a 20% restocking fee. Ripoff New York Internet
I placed an on-line order for a Canon SD 800 camera. I paid by debit card. This company called me back in a few minutes to confirm my order, and then told me that I MUST buy an additonal flash card for $129.00. I told them I did not want this card. They then told me that my order would be cancelled if I did not buy this flash card and they would charge me a 20% restocking fee to cancel my order. I told them to cancel the entire order and they hung up on me.
This company is a TOTAL fraud,and should be closed down for criminal activity.They were rated on the web site with a 5 star review. Someone is crazy or just plain lieing.
They charged my account for over $400. for this "maybe" new camera. I don't whatever they might send to me. I just know that I am out over $400 for a $290 camera.
This is a classic case of BUYER BEWARE!!!
I wish I knew all of this before I got involved with these crooks.
It does NOT pay to shop on line as you are dealing with an unknown party, and many of them exist only to rip you off.
