I purchased bedroom furniture from The Dump on Nov 23 2012 – a bed, Dresser, Mirror, Chest & Nightstand and I purchased the Delivery & Installation Service. I was told that my order would take 3 weeks to be delivered. I explained to the sales rep that I had guests coming over Christmas and was assured by the Sales Rep that it would be delivered by mid-Dec.

I got a call from The Dump mid-Dec to inform me that my furniture would be delivered only end=Dec, as the set was no longer in stock and would be arriving from overseas. Upon delivery and while assembling, the store delivery person noticed that the dresser wall was cracked. He called up the store and they informed me that they would send a repair tech to fix the damage.  The repair person came around end of Jan, 2013 but determined that the damage could not be repaired and would require new parts. He said that the store would order the new part and reschedule the repair with me.

After 3-4 weeks of waiting, I spoke to an Account Manager - Joanna, and asked her what the status of the shipment was. She said that she had no visibility to what the status was and I would just have to wait. I explained that I had purchased and paid for the furniture four months ago, that it was causing a great deal of inconvenience to me and requested to speak to a superior with whom I could lodge a complaint and receive better information. She told me that she was the account manager and there is no else that I could speak to. Upon my informing her that I would be lodging a complaint, her response was that she was not bothered by that at all.

The part finally arrived mid-March, 2013. I called the store and the repair person came 3rd week of March, but upon opening the package, he found that the new part was also damaged and could not be used and that the store would re-order the part from overseas. It is April 2013 and I am still waiting for the part to come in. My calls to the Acct Manager are still being met with a cold response that my only recourse is to wait.
