The Evclave Apartments equity Apartment left in perfect condition. Overcharged for everything. Complete ripoff. Tempe Arizona
The Enclave Apartments in Tempe, AZ are a complete ripoff. My roommate and I moved out about 20 days ago leaving the apartment in perfect condition. We recieved a letter 2 days ago with charges that don't make since.
We're being charged $500 for carpets to replace carpets that were steam vaccumed,$250 to replace one tile on the fireplace,etc. They're charging to clean the carpets even though we're also being charged to replace them.
The letter with all the charges was recieved on the 12th of July. They wrote the letter on the 29th of June. It was not mailed until the 9th of July. The letter stated we have 30 days to pay fines. Letter states fines must be paid by 28 of July. Fines should not be due until August 8th if the letter wasn't even sent until July 9th.
There are many fines on here that make no since. Apartment is overcharging for everything. I believe apt. is trying to get us to pay for their remodeling. I have lived at many apts. and never seen charges of this nature. This is not acceptable and I believe we are being taken for a ride. I feel as if I'm in a prison movie taking it for behind. PLEASE HELP
