The French Design Company TFDC, In'N'Out Furniture, eXByU, Laurence Dupin, Sophie Fraudulent and shady business practices. Couldn't care less about the customers. Downey, California
I'm a former employee at this company. I witnessed various shady practices such as intentionally sending out the wrong order to the customer and hanging up on someone complaining. I also became aware of the fact that the owner, Laurence Dupin, changed her name from Sophie after changing the name of the company from In'N'Out Furniture to The French Design Company.
While here I witnessed many customer complaints both over the phone and in person. The manager, Aurelien Dony, would just shrug it off and continue to place incorrect orders (on purpose) and hang up on customers. They were also dependent on free labor via the form of Interns from France.
They (Laurence and Aurelien) also had someone posting advertisements on Craigslist and they were attempting to spam the website in order to get sales. Despite the fact that Craigslist's terms of service explicitly state that you can only post locally and only a few ads, they would just laugh and continue to abuse the website's services.
There were numerous complaints against the company in 2011 when they were called In'N'Out Furniture but they chose to completely ignore those customers and just change the name of their business. I suppose they thought this would give them a fresh start but there are numerous complaints online against The French Design Company, some of which are aware of the fact that they used to be called In'N'Out Furniture.
I'm mainly writing this to hopefully help someone avoid this company in the future. Hopefully they are shut down and the owner and manager get prosecuted for their disgusting business practices.

These false accusations are exactly what to expect from a frustrated former employee that is not longer with us because she is under a police investigation for stealing company properties and her unemployment benefits has been denied.
Our customers can check themselves The French Design Company on BBB.
There is no complains. We respect our clients and all of them received their products. They can also visit our showroom and warehouse. We even have a "7 days to get your money back after delivery" policy!
Even though you are a former employee Maria S., we respect your privacy and won't put your full name on the internet. Per our lawyer, we recommand you to remove this post as it is considered defamation by the California Libel Law (Tortious interference with economic advantage. California Civil Code 44, 45a and 46).
