Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was a 'highly valued' employee for almost two years. I outranked most others in my performance evaluations and maintained a very highly positive client relationship. Less than 1% (DOCUMENTED) ever had a reason to complain, and it always was solved when I would make contact with the customer to see what could be done. Nothing more than minor mis-understadings. I recevied several commendations for bringing in customers and actually retaining them.

Then, on Novenber 3,2004. My beloved daddy, a man who was my heart, died in his sleep in a local hospice. I had spent 6 days by his side, never leaving. I remember the absolute heart break of that moment of death. I was given 4 days to make arrangements, hold a service, and return to work.

I had plenty of documentation showing that I was runnning on a very low reserve and ADAMANTLY advised by my doctor to grieve at least a week or two. Of course, I was made to be the "bad guy", a lady unable to stop crying.

I returned to work THE DAY AFTER my daddy was laid to rest. At approx. 12:30pm, my immediate supervisor Jay S. walked in the door. I felt such hope and pleasure to see him, naiviely thinking he was there to offer his condolences and help. Instead, I was WRITTEN UP FOR:

Having my mother call me out of work since i was too upset to report the latest. I was told that was a serious violation to attendance reporting. Also, I forgot to take the garbage.

I was dumbstruck,and why I did not grab my things as I could have and stormed up, I'll never know. My child needs me sooooo much right, i can't just quit. The following week, I was visited by Jay S. and T.Kapserchechz came dowm, accused me of theft, and told me to leave AT THAT EXACT MOMEMNT no reason, just because.

I complained to HR, the BBB, the State of OH Labor Control BOard, with NO responses. After leaving, the REAL reason for my dismissal was made clearly. Downsizing me. With the date effective of 11/3/2004. Yep, you read I was merely a pawn;

To update, as I was extremely upset. It was not the next week, I was terminated on January 21st,2005. A full 3 months after the fact. I feel used, beyond saddened, and basically a schmuck for even staying after that conversation when I was written up. I really felt that this company would be my home for many years and to have myself put in this position, it was tacky. Interesting to note, I have never had ANY theft charges filed(kinda hard I guess when it never happened!)but was told that 'rules' had changed as of February 1st and that my nice 1000+ bonus would not as a matter of fact be sent to me because I was not employed as of Feb 1st. I maintained and earned all my accounts for 2 years, brought ALOT of new business in and dealt with customers that our own officers and agents had declared "a-holes,b**chy,retards,jacka**es" who when I got to meet them were nothing but nice. I guess the people who turned down all the extra, UNNESSESARY insurance were just branded those names (and quite a few others not even accepted language in my book)even though the agents do not work on commission. I basically worked myself near exhaustion to keep my accounts and cried all the way to the bank for the good it got me. PLEASE-there are SO many good, honest comapnies out there for insurance. PLEASE do not be lured into promises of a low down payment and low monthly. They WILL change and you will find yourself locked into higher payments each month(An 18.00!!! billing charge is in EVERY payment)even if you do automatic monthly checking account payments. If you need an SR22 filing, do not believe the 'hype' that it dramtically increases your coverage. It costs 10.00 to file with the state for the insurance company. To pay any more than that is a rip-off. You are judged on your driving record and where you live. Colors of cars mean NOTHING and I personally saw people with Mercedes pay almost a thousand less a year than someone who had a little two door Ford that needed an SR22 for driving with no insurance but otherwise a SPOTLESS record. It is safe to mention that the Mercedes driver had a DWI, six speeding tickets, and a leaving the scene of an accident. By having a newer Mercedes, it was deemed that they would 'really pay' the premium much more than the average Joe needing to get to an hourly job. Wrong! The lifeblood was hard working moms and dads having to choose food or car insurance. I am such a thief, yet I paid so many peoples monthly insurance for them because it wasn't possible for them to pay and eat too. It is a company that uses your need for insurance to make you pay in the looooong run. I can only say that I am SATISFIED to know that when I left, most of my regulars went elsewhere in protest! Good for you! I am wishing the best for all of you and hope you have a better experience elsewhere. I am happily employed with a non-profit company and know that I work at a place that values the needs of people more than it values the buck any day!! Avoid, avoid, avoid the demeaning idea that you are not worth more than the upper crust. So many insurance companies care about the clientle. Go there and see the change it can make for you!!
