The Hotline Report James Banks stole money from my bank account by writing fraudulent checks Redwood City , California
This man cons you into trusting him and asks to partner with you and help him by sharing access to your bank account to run his business. He will tell you that he can't get another account because of a divorce action that is preventing him from using his own bank account. He will create checks on his home computer and which have your account number on them and then cash them against that account. He promises to maintain the account and will.....for awhile.....just long enough to gain your trust. Then he will suddenly cash checks for large amounts against your account (five figures or more) in one or two days and then run away, claiming he is distraught and lost focus because of some tragic event in his life (with me he claimed his son was killed in a traffic accident). Before he does this, he writes small checks and bounces them to test your account's overdraft protection. Then he will pounce by writing huge checks and let the account holder cover the negative with his VISA card, which is what I had to do. He promises to make good the negative amount and asks that you guarantee the amount personally and he will repay you. Never will happen. With me, he offered the pink slips to several junk cars, which were worthless because I needed to buy insurance before I could register them in my name. He also offered to let me hold as security a firearm, and then immediately reported it stolen so I would be arrested if ever caught with it. I immediately turned it over to the police and reported him. He is a liar, and a cheat and con man. Do not trust him with anything for for any reason. Believe the previously filed report about CSI and Jim Banks and The Hotline Report dated May, 2011, because it sounds like exactly what Banks did to me.
I would like the writer of the May, 2011 report to contact me so we might jointly pursue this ripoff artist and bring him to justice.
