The Lynd Company (The Timber Links In Denton) Sudden Charges not Reiterated in Lease! Denton Texas
This apartment complex is just trying to rip you off. They look great on the outside but with hidden fees attached! First it started of as a $10 charge added to your water bill for trash pick up... ok I got over that. Now I hear that the reason the water bill has gone up is because we're now having to pay for the sprinkler system around the complex and the golf course! The BIGGEST insanity is being DOUBLE BILLED FOR CABLE! Before the apartment complex made its transition to the Lynd Company, a survey was given out to see what tenants would like to see changed. One of them being a better cable deal with more channels. Now that the transition has been made a $45 "convenience" fee has been added ON TOP OF the payment we have to make to the cable company. I was charged this $45 even before I signed up for the new cable. When I went to the leasing agent, she said it was a deal the apts made with Primecast but when I asked Primecast, they said there was no such deal and that they have nothing to do with the $45 the apt is charging. This is absurd and everyone needs to get together so something can be done!
