This is a response to Fawn's rebuttal. I appreciate your comments, but the fact is, that on my "1 year contract", I had them write-in a guaranteed renewal rate on the face of the contract before agreeing to pay for the full-year in advance, as opposed to monthly. Had they not given me the "guaranteed renewal rate", I would not have signed this. They have not honoured many peoples contracts, and they don't seem to care, since most people will just walk away, or just put up with it. I understand that costs go up, but this is in my contract, and the manager, Bryan Kennedy, admitted to me up front, that despite the guarantee, he would not honour it, and, yes, his "word" is no good. It appears to me that they did indeed honor the contract you signed. You only signed a one year contract - not a lifetime contract. That's what a renewal is all about - re-negotiating prices and terms - for all parties concerned. Prices do go up and I'm sure that you expect and increase in salary or cost of living increase, right? The same applies to companies. After all, their employees need to get paid and their utilities are going up just as yours are. There are true complaints and issues on this site about companies that do not even come close to abiding by the terms of the contract and in my opinion, yours is not one of them.
