The Pink Violet Shop (Etsy) Jetaimeweddings is her main website. Wedding Invitations Scam Unknown Internet
My daughter is getting married, and her friend helped her pick out and order wedding invitations from the Etsy store The Pink Violet Shop. The order was placed December 13th, 2014, and the shop was paid $575.50. The owner of the store (v.annemarie) gave them a personal email address and lured them to converse with her outside of Etsy. That was their first mistake, but they did keep all the emails.
The invitations were to be delivered within 3 weeks, but she kept giving them excuses for delay and even tried to get $75 more dollars to expedite shipping. Finally, they were promised February 25th, of course 60 days past the order date. When they didn’t arrive, my daughter got me involved. First thing I did was to try to contact her through Etsy and her store…of course, the store was closed. Also, she was not answering her emails. At that point, I knew my daughter had been scammed.
I started doing research and have accumulated much information including her main website outside of Etsy (which I doubt is legit), and much evidence that she has been doing this for several years by opening stores on Etsy under different store names (and probably aliases). There is evidence that she has scammed on eBay, too. At least two other people were scammed through her The Pink Violet Shop on Etsy that I know of.
This was our first purchase through Etsy. I will get my money back through my charge card. This woman needs to be stopped. I am using every resource I have to take her down. I will be reporting this scenario to every organization out there that involves internet fraud. I am gathering all the information I can on her. Any help would be much appreciated.
