Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We purchased 10 powercell vending machines about six months ago. They were very helpful until we wired the money, then everything changed. The product and machines were six weeks late. We could never reach anyone when we called the 800 number or were told that someone would return the call, with no results.

We were promised help getting going. That has been a joke. The only way I can get a hold of Patrick Wherley now is by blocking my number and then he promises to email information which never happens.

The machines themselves are grossly expensive and the product is overpriced. Initially there was some curiousity interest and then nothing. We do not collect enough to pay the gas to go around and check the machines.

We are now stuck with a large debt and ten machines that we can't get rid of. If you are considering the franchise, don't make the mistake. If you are someone who got into this like we did, we'd be interested in talking.

They have the Gold's Gym and Planet Fitness and Walmart logos advertised on their website as good locations. This is extremely deceptive, because it is next to impossible to get into corporately owned locations like these. Also, most locators won't touch these locations.

All these people are absolutely right agout Patrick Wherley. He has now abandoned his "Energy Company" because the BBB ratings are so low, and is now using the names "Power Cell Biz, Power Cell Inc, Power Cell Vending, etc. None of whice are registered actual companies with the BBB. So we can't complain about a company if they really don't exist. He has entered a new low and operating under ficticious business names. He is a total crook! Maube he will change his name next, who knows. I also bought some machines from Patrick and have had an identical experienxe as the others. I have absolutely nothing good to say and I have spoken with 5 other victims and no one had anything good say about this Man, the product, or the cheap machines he sells for thousands of dollars when they are probably only worth 200 bucks of so. Don't so it. Here's some more juicy info on Patrick. He used our money to get a yellow Corvette and then it got repossed. He also told his sales agent that he was dating one of the "impartial references" he give you to speak with about the franchise. Of course they only have good lies to tell. He lices in a small condo in Littleton and his cell phone recently was discuonnected. He is an amazing salesman, so beware, because he is also an amazing slimeball who only cares about getting his next fancy car from your cash. Tom California

I see that Patrick Wherley is trying to discredit everyone who is filing reports on this site, but take note. If you are considering doing business with him, DON'T. He is a snake, his word means nothing, he wants your money then he folds and runs. I'm telling you, his word means nothing. He has promised me support in the form of phone calls, emails, etc. He has done absolutely nothing that he promised. He could still make this right just by helping me out here, but until then I will do everything I can to discredit him and shut him down. Check out the Better Business Bureau. His rating is down to a C- and falling.
