This company has never sent my statements in a timely manner. I get one about every other month. Last one I received was in April 2010. I paid my bill at that time and it told me I was late on my payment. So I caught up my payments. I have not received a statement since April 2010. I have received collection calls at all hours of the night and day and are usually a recorded message. The one human being that I did speak with, I informed I was not getting my statements and she told me they were being sent out. I explained again that I was not getting them. I told her not to call again and that she would get the past due on payday. I have received 2 more calls since then and a late notice, but no statement.

Today when I got the past due notice I made my payment. Paid my account off in full and then realized that I owed $16 more than the last time I saw a statement in April 2010. When I went to the account transaction history, there was a $10 late fee posted to the account.

So I called Swiss Colony and asked to have that removed as I had not received a statement in 2 months. The first person I spoke with was willing to help me get that refunded. She then transferred me over to the credit department. The second person I spoke with was rude and refused to listen to me. Told me it wasn't her problem that I had not received my statements. Said it was a post office issue.

I told her I was getting all my other mail, so why wouldn't I be getting theirs? It had to be an issue on their end. She refused to listen and refused to work with me on anything. I ended up hanging up on her as she wouldn't shut up and let me ask questions or try to get this resolved. Her customer service skills are very lacking.

I have filed a BBB complaint against them and will be filing a complaint with my local attorney generals office if this qualifies.

I am asking for a refund of the late fees and penalties is all. Around $20. I also want my account closed in good standing.
