Eric, As I previously discussed with you I have had repeated failure with the equipment used in your design, more specifically the Water Way In-line Chlorinator (515-1210) and the Water Way Check Valve (600-7010). The lids on both of these products broke at the manufactured seams multiple times, having nothing to do with regular maintenance as you have suggested. I have been in contact with the manufacture Water Way Plastics and was told the products you used on my system are designed and tested for pool and spa's use only. Furthermore, they recommend that I have a professional remove the system you installed since the products were not tested for use on wells or county or city water services. While they stated they have no controls over how any product of theirs is used, they did confirm lack of maintenance or lack of using Salt in my system would not have caused the lids on the Chlorinator or Check Valve to crack. As to the O ring being dry or needing to be inspected and or replaced, again as you also claimed to have caused the failure, they stated that would not have caused the lids to crack. I have removed the water purification system you designed and installed at my residence. Again I'm requesting a full refund and in return will allow you to come and get the equipment you installed. As to your statement in your last response on this site ("Anyone want to see what I have had to deal with just give him a call anytime after 11 am on the weekend that's all I have to say on this matter"), I'm not quite sure what you are implying but do find it slanderous in nature. I do not drink, or use illegal drugs, and my demeanor is normally a friendly person who treats others with respect. That is unless it's Saturday and again my family and I do not have water and we are left to fend for ourselves. I guess my attitude should be 'oh well honey we don't have water again because the equipment we bought (with our hard earned dollars) cracked a lid again'. I now have a new system which is working great, water is clear not Gray (even using salt), no chlorinator which means I no longer require Chlorine which I found out is not recommended to be used in water being consumed by humans since chlorine has been linked to causing Cancer.

I read Jays first three lines and I'm not going to bother to answer to any lies - what can you say in defense of someone who lies ? .
His exact words to him not adding salt for three years to my 24 yr old Son whom would not lie to me ( he is college educated quiet and reserved and non confrontational ) was " Customer yelled as I was walking to me " --- " I did not add salt because I don't like soft water !!! " ----no salt in 90 days with iron well water alone would cause gray water because now it will hold iron and then soon after release color ----------
Line 2 --Now he's afraid to touch the system? Come on
Everyone can see what the problem here is -I feel blessed that my customer list of thousands of customers respond to reason and logic and there all easy going .
Anyone want to see what I have had to deal with just give him a call anytime after 11 am on the weekend that's all I have to say on this matter ,.

The statement made by Eric are incorrect. I explained to his son I stopped using Salt because it was making the water coming from the tap Grey! I further explained I have not had the quality of water as promised before buying the unit. As to the comment concerning my wife not wanting to check the system, it was not that she refused, but rather because she is not mechanically inclined nor does she trust the system either. As to maintenance, I have not replaced the O rings because frankly I'm scared to touch the system and the O ring was not the problem. I agree I did not and will not watch the CD, nor will I read all the information posted on his website. As a homeowner I was assured the system was almost maintenance free and the maintenance was minimal. The issue with the system again is not maintenance it is the parts used on the system are for above ground pools and are not intended for use on wells or for that matter city or county service. I have had 3 well companies (who were not trying to sell me anything and have been in business for 30+ years) look at the system. Each informed me the equipment installed is not only designed for pools, but pose a danger in causing bodily injury if used on wells or in their opinion on city or county service. I also have had 2 independent water treatment company's look at the system and they too (unsolicited) said the parts used (and which have broke due to pressure) are only rated for 35PSI and designed exclusively for above ground pools. The Chlorinator Cap cracked under pressure not because of a O' ring being dry. The Check Valve cracked under pressure, the Ball Valve cracked under pressure having absolutely nothing to do with homeowner maintenance. Each of them checked the pressure on my pump and found it to be normal, one even said my pressure was low but suggested leaving since I had not complaints regarding the water pressure at my taps in the house. They all questioned why the Relief Valve Eric installed on the system did not do its job to protect and prevent other system components from breaking under pressure. I have been cautioned by these experienced industry experts that the parts can burst causing personal injury. This is why I asked Eric for a refund, or for him to replace with a system designed for a well. After Eric's son left I found the ball valve (he came to fix) to be leaking and and inoperable. Also I noticed his son turned on the regeneration filter and must have set it to continuously run, discharging hundreds of gallons of water into the backyard. I again found myself with out water. I luckily was able to contact another water filtration company and they put a temporary fix on the system. I will be purchasing a new system now that I know once you question the Well Guru's system he will not only argue with you but will abandoned you with out water and blame you the customer for lack of maintenance. As to my associates who also bought this system, one has already replaced Eric's system for the same reasons as I have noted, and the other associate is going to get his replaced by the company that changes mine out this Saturday. As to Eric's claims and his self proclaimed expertise (Well Guru), you be the judge, I encourage to buy his system, see how it performs. I personally would request him to provide a list of the parts he will use on YOUR system, and then contact the manufacturer for application uses. I fully intend on speaking with legal counsel regarding this matter to see what recourse I may have.

The Well Guru has the finest "whole home system" engineered for problem waters-- and engineered to be the easiest to maintain system for well water money can buy ,.. we ship internationally and its included at no charge for the lower 48 States ,. and we also install Professionally in most of the State of Florida at no cost.
This Customer in three years of ownership has neglected to perform even the basics in maintenance,..only contacting us after He had driven all over town looking for parts and
answers from others who do not have any experience with Filtration platforms. Just as owning an automobile not taking care of the recommended -results in mechanical failure ,. and virtually nothing was done ,.The pump he had that burned up was the result of plumbing failure and him leaving the home for long periods and not shutting off the water (recommend) by all dealers. *I include a well water CD loaded with tips all customers receive with their systems ,. its a product of decades of collected service information --its there to "save" the consumer from service calls ,. He never read it or looked at any pictures.. read on for the complete story !
This is the only whole home system that can operate for a decade on 95% of the wells with out any Dealer service calls, if there is unscheduled work ?...the system(s) are engineered to be remedied and returned to service in minutes with the included comprehensive CD ,. or there is a text support line that can be used to walk the consumer through the repair to return full service.. The warranty is second to none and so is the system being decades (four in 4 in 5 competing brands) ,. ahead of the alternative systems makes it the best choice for anyone with well water .
This Customer like all customers,.. IF they have a problem (not likely- even on problem well water) being the owner operator with more then three decades of heavy service experience can quickly assess the problem no matter what it is (even outside my scope of business "Filtration" as I am a Plumber),.. and at no additional charge or monthly contract offer easy to follow steps to return proper service even when its not related to the filtration system - thousands of customers enjoy this service.
If the unlikely event occurred where the owner had to make a repair,.. my systems are engineered so as everything is "Snap on " or off,. unscrew or screw on,. no tools needed 99% of the time,.. again in the highly unlikely event of repair,.. compared to other systems that need $1000 to $2000 or more annual service from only the dealer ,.. and my system(s) have solved well issues where others have failed,.. it is truly engineered for the owners benefit ,.. and not for generating service revenue.
ADDRESSING THIS COMPLAINT ; I have had only a hand full of complaints since 1980 -all dealers get complaints ,.. comparing the amount of volume and sales of complete systems shipped daily out of our reach one or two is not significant ,. however I am committed to resolving them personally . This customer regrettably is not.
1) Jay called us and said he had no water because of a cracked PVC nut - which i have only seen two of (its made by others)- and he would have had to go to a hardware for the five minute repair I offered to send my Son (who has now 11 years on the job) since he is only 30 min away ,. Jeff repaired it . We were there within the hour with no notice.
2)Jay began to get irate and demand a Total Refund with My Son ( i called Jay and asked him what his reasoning was ?? ) He claimed the system does not work and complained about all the service it needs ,.. I spent a half hour explaining that he has had no service ,.. His complaint was He had a cracked Dome cap --- however Jay has never Replaced the gasket and just as it says on the CD -replace if it is dry rotted or hardened from oxidation (chlorine ) He kept cutting me off and demanding a full refund .
3) I began to argue and would not let me explain the "what little maintenance" there was he overlooked (He had never read the Cd at all .) I had to tell Jeff to leave the job immediately as the customer is not responding to logic or reason and was irate and began using profanity,. I told Jeff to leave immediately . Jay told me he has never done anything with the system except add chlorine tablets once in a while -- He said hes always on trips and his Wife refuse to even look in the shed .
4) Jeff reported the following : Jay said to him He has never added salt since the first initial Fill ran out years ago ! (on well water with high iron this can result in multiple failures with any system over time - even mine ) He also from looking at his storage tank it has never been purged which is your 90 day maintenance on all full platform systems -- his gauge was broken -- in short Jay and his Wife did not do the minimal maintenance ,. and ...
5) as far as Referrals go ? its true we get them,.. His friend has not contacted me since the installations three years ago ,.. so I cannot comment if hes happy or not,. just like Cars ,.. only half the owners maintain them,.. even fewer use the original dealer for multiple reasons being they don't know to go back, or they use someone they met closer,. cold calls from salesman etc etc.
certainly if a customer had any problems with their system you would think they would first contact the company they purchased from ? I have not received any contact so we can only assume Jay is looking to inflict as maximum damage . This is the first complaint I have ever answered online.
I later talked to Jay after his water was restored ,..He has paid no service call.. He would not allow me to explain what customer maintenance he had neglected --He was even more difficult to understand then the previous hour ,. He kept going on about wanting his refund and the old system re installed ( He did not buy a new $4400 system because the old was working so well ) He began to communicate in a "un-gentlemanly manor" so his complementary service was discontinued .
It only takes about 10 min every three months to maintain the most sophisticated -up-to date well filtration system on the planet and Jay refused to do even the minimum required home maintenance or even read the quick start guide on the CD ,.. now with his problem water the system is in need of multiple repairs ,. however even ruined The system I engineer can be recovered even without Dealer in-home service - regrettably I can not with all of my customer experience communicate with him with multiple attempts.
CONTINUED MISSION : I operate this business with my two Sons -it is a family owned business and over three decades we have developed the only system that is the easiest to maintain of all brands (ones that actually perform) -- it filters deeper into the Dalton scale ,..it uses hard puck chlorine -no heavy liquid jugs to lug home each month,.. its engineered to be maintained without the annoyance of waiting for a mechanic to show up or not show up,. to be reliable and is not designed to generate endless steams of service calls "each getting more costly" ,.. and you can expect to be the last system you purchase., anything else your going to be in the market a year later .
We ship for FREE to any of the lower 48 States and for a nominal fee into Canada and other parts of the globe,. it arrives boxed and assembled and programmed with a free connect kit and free support if its ever needed,...I don't have a fleet of service trucks because I engineer the most reliable filter systems money can buy,..all at "middle of the road" pricing .
Owning a home on well water really can be
different then what you have ever experienced !
