Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Thompson Environmental violated an implied rule in doing business with someone. You don't go around your customer for any reason. Since the Roadway Express project began, Jim Thompson and his employees have made it perfectly clear that they were Thompson Environmental, rather than saying they were working for DL Streich & Son, Inc. Out of (6) other subcontractors, Thompson Environmental was the only one who made a deliberate effort to let the customer know they were Thompson Environmental, demeaning DL Streich & Son, Inc. with the intention of working direct for my customerRoadway Express.

Never in the past 25 years in this industry and over $30 Million in sales have I ever experienced such a self righteous greedy approach to doing business. Jim Thompson and his employees did their best to step all over me and deliberately impugn DL Streich & Son for their own gain. During the entire project, according to Steve Shinners and Jeff Lawson, my company was unquestionably slated to perform the new piping island work, until Jim Thompson began talking to Jeff Lawson. In all their greed, not once did Jim Thompson thank me for this business opportunity. After we (Jim Thompson and myself)met with Jeff Lawson (my customer), and Roadway approached Jim thompson to do business direct with him, Jim Thompson didn't even say he would throw something in the price to Roadway for the skimming system for DL Streich & Son, Inc., let alone ask me for trenching and concrete replacement pricing.

Then, after Jim Thompson compiled and forwarded a detailed proposal for piping replacement to Roadway, I didn't hear from Jeff Lawson for a week and when he finally did call, he rather quickly said that he would be putting the project out for bid. I blame Roadways decision to put the project out for bid on Thompson Environmental and the demeaning comments they made about my company.
