i logged online to the kennedy center to buy tickets to Mark Morris Dance group. i did not notice at the time, but above the listing for kennedy-center.com was a listing for "kennedy-center-ticketsintime.com." I clicked on ticketsintime.com, and within a second was asked for credit card information which i entered, and then they took the information and ran away--i had no opportunity to select a seat, or indicate how much i wanted to spend on my seat. and there was no opportunity to print the tickets online or pick them up at will-call. this was clearly a rogue group, but by then they had my money.

the tickets did arrive in the mail a few days later. Two tickets, as i had requested. The face price of each ticket was $49--first balcony rear center. However, Tixintime charged me $163 for each ticket, plus a handling charge of $37.49 each.

So i spent $200 for a $49 ticket.  that is scalping on an outrageous level.

beware

No Tricks Here

Our website is not designed to trick anyone, if you read the origional complaint it states the author did not notice what was listed in the web browser... how is it trickery if the person did not notice what was indeed there? We didnt hide behind a fake browser, we didnt mislead anyone to the website, the fault lies in not paying attention to what website you were on.

I sleep just fine at night, because I realize that while there are complaints, as there are with any company every day we help hundreds of customers get tickets to shows. We have been in business for over 10 years, for every complaint on here you have to take hand in hand the hundreds of thousands of happy and satisfied customers, but of course we only hear about the negativity, which every company has. The difference is how each company handles complaints. Tickets in time takes care of its customers, if we mess up, we admit it. If we mess up, we refund our customers usually even more than they paid for tickets! We try to make everything right by our customers.

We do not hide anything, our policies are in plain view on our website, our policies clearly state our tickets are one-of-a-kind, and in most cases are sold above "face value". Services fee's charged for tickets is not a profit we keep, but in many cases fee's associated with the venue. We have no control of them.  If anyone has ever ordered tickets to a show and gotten different seats they are 9 out of 10 times upgraded seats, we encourage anyone who feels there seats were not upgraded to contact us. We have reprentatives ready to answer calls M-F 9-5pm. We do not need to trick anyone, we do not hide behind anything, we certainly do not hide behind a website. If these people would call us, 9 out of 10 times we can seek a resolution with them, but not knowing who is really filing the complaint, we have no way of trying to fix the problem ( if their legitimately is one)

You people are absolutely criminal. There is NO defending your company!! Your website is designed to trick people and it's done intentionally. To say otherwise is just more trickery.

How do you sleep at night; people like you are predators. Your just like a mugger jumping out of the shadows. Your 'net' reputation proves it.... go away Ticketsintime.com, you serve nothing but your own rotten black souls.

Stay off this website: It's for decent people to let other decent people know about creeps like you.

Please read policies before placing order

I appolgize you did not notice what website you were ordering from when you clicked on the link. we did not in any way force you to order from our site, and cannot control the fact that you over looked the link you were clicking on. We did not mislead you in any way shape or form, nor did we force you to input your credit card information. You would have had to select a show to purchase tickets too. With all of our sites, you click on the show you want to see and click "availble tickets, buy tickets..etc" something to that extent. You are then directed to select which Zone, row, balcony,seats...etc you are requesting. YOU then select if you want to purchase the tickets at the price displayed for the seats you are requesting. lastly before the order is processed you are directed to read and accept our policies, which clearly state " Tickets are being sold by secondary ticket market brokers, tickets are often sold above face value"

In order to actually process your order, you would have had to select " yes" I have read and agree to the above mentioned policies.

Nothing was hidden, or concealed from you in anyway.

Im glad you recieved your tickets and I hope you enjoyed your show.

I am very good about making sure that I use utmost care on he net. these scum bags have positioned thier rank on search engines in front of the real, legitimate sellers and set up a very misleading front that even the best of us could be tricked. there is NO place on the web or business for 'Thieving cruds' like this.

While ticket resellers are a rip off (well unless the show is sold out, then its just market economics) I hope you learned your lesson about websites. Why you would type in your credit card information before selecting a seat and price I don't understand. I also dont understand why you would do a transaction with a website without even being sure you are on the correct website. Had you exercised a little caution and verified you were on the correct website this would have never been an issue in the first place.
