Timber Creek Builders, LLC Storm Chaser Portage, Wisconsin - New Richmond, Wisconsin
Storm Chaser - They came and left a door hanger on my door in New Richmond and I researched them. They are out of Portage but apparently do work in Colorado and North Dakota according to their website. With the hail damage I would watch out for guys like this that just do work and leave and aren't supporting the local economy. Another one I saw that chases storms is Aspen, they knocked on my door. Beware of these storm chasers as the storms bring them out of the wood work.

The company that the above complaint focuses on is a general contractor based out of Portage, WI was founded in 1986 as a construction and excavation company, and has been helping homeowners in its current venture since 2007. In addition to helping individual clients with contracting and restoration needs, they also seek to help homeowners navigate the insurance claims and restoration process (with the only necessary homeowner expense being their deductable). This company operates mainly in Wisconsin, and has helped homeowners restore their property in cities across the state, including Merrill, Manitowoc, Minocqua, and Wisconsin Rapids.
Although most of its work is conducted in Wisconsin, the state the company was founded and is headqaurtered in, the lack of consistancy in storm occurances and locations requires that they travel to nearby states in order to run an efficient and effective business.
This company's first choice for material suppliers, subcontractors, and laboreres in all cities are local businesses. By using trusted, local, companies for projects, they are able to support the local economy as well as maintain connections for any post-completion/emergency labor that may be required on a project after the claims specialists have completed all of their contracted work in the city or town. In addition, the company invests more than just insurance funds in the economy as its employees fuel their vehicles, eat, sleep, and visit attractions in the cities that they are working in, providing a boost to various sectors of the local economy.
This company follows the procedures required by all local authorities, including permiting (both direct seller's and building permits) and bonding when required, and maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. While individuals are, of course, free to exercise their freedom of speech, the company would appreciate that they call the office number (which is listed on Facebook, the BBB website, and their company website) to discuss the work the company does and its commitment to supporting local economies, quality claims and restoration services, and post-restoration customer support.
The company cannot speak to the qualities of the "Aspen" company listed in this complaint, as it does not have any knowledge of Aspen's business practices, however, would like to request that any complaints against Aspen be posted directly to that company rather than associating an independently owned and run company with Aspen.
