We sold a great lil puppy to KRISTIE MARTIN IN BRENTWOOD CA. She sent several e-mails telling us how great this lil girl was. After about 4 months she sent an e-mail stating that the puppy was developing a slight underbite. We informed her to send the vet reports for us to see. We never received the report but instead she sent another e-mail saying her vet in december 07 stated the puppy not only had an underbite but splayed front legs, luxating patellas, a breathing disorder and some strange blood disorder and she wanted money back on the puppy. We asked again for the vet reports and that we would replace the puppy if these things were really wrong with her. About 2 months later we received a vet report that only showed a very slight underbite but no mention of anything else. We still offered to replace the puppy but for some reason she wanted to keep her and still receive money back. We personally called her vet and she stated that she didn't see the puppy until feb. 08 about her having problems . Kristie martin stated that the vet found all these things in dec. 07 but the vet sent me the complete vet reports and in feb. 08 Kristie tried to get them to look for whatever they could find wrong with her. they couldn't find anything but a very healthy puppy with a slight underbite that may correct with age. After we questioned Kristie about why she lied about the vet reports and that we spoke to her vet, she sent a very nasty, abusive e-mail with words that a person in their right mind would never say. All she wanted was money and keep the puppy. We received our first chihuahua [ Dolly ] in 1960 and fell inlove with this breed. we did start breeding in 1970 with a different breed but soon after started back breeding only chihuahuas. we now breed 2 other toy breeds along with the chihuahuas. Our TINY TOWN TEXAS business is not a puppymill and we won't sell to pet stores. We raise very good quality puppies and have a very good reputation, which we would be glad to give names and phone numbers to anyone questioning our validity. Evidently KRISTIE MARTIN has tried this before by the way she tried manipulating the timeframes and vet reports, but when we actually talked to her vet and received the correct reports she knew that she had been caught in these lies. She told us to just forget about any resolution and that she wanted to keep the puppy, but her cursing and slanderous e-mail proved to us that she was just trying to scam us. We at TINY TOWN TEXAS hope you never get the chance to send a puppy to this lady because you may get SCAMMED as we almost did.
