TJF Corporation I didn't take a loan Internet
I was contacted by this company and they used a local phone number (what came up on my caller ID) 205-307-5330 RC Trucking.A woman with an Indian accent proceeded to tell me my ss# my bank account # and my address.
She said she was calling to inform me I was going to jail. That I had done an internet loan and had not paid it back. She would not tell me who I borrowed
from, the amount or any other info. She said she was not interested that I didn't have a loan, that wasn't ehat this call was about.. She wanted to know what I was going to do about it today (May 8,2009).
I asked to speak to someone I could understand and she put a male on the phone with an accent worse than hers.
He repeated all the same information and gave me a number to call them back. 202-821-4771. He started trash talking me so I hung up.
I called the 202-821-4771 number back and the same guy answered the phone. I told him i wanted the name of his company and He said SFI (State Financial Investigations) and they represented TJF Corp. l told him I was calling the Sheriffs Dept. and he said go ahead you should because you are going to jail on 3 charges. One of them is check fraud..
I filed a police report, Changed my bank account alerted the FTC and the Alabama Consumer affairs.
When I started researching on line there is a website where you can check scam phone #'s. Website 1800NOTES.com has the number 205-307-5330
with different tactics (representing AT & T)
