A salesman came into my store several days ago selling a product called TKO All Purpose Cleaner. We are a pet boutique, so his selling point was that it was organic and safe for pets and children. Generally savvy when it comes to scams, I grilled him. He did an in store demonstration on a white chair that we have desperately needed to find something to take the denim and pen mark stains off of. He tested it on a small spot and it came right off.
Feeling ridiculous now, but I paid $60.00 for two bottles of the stuff that he said I would dilute and it would make two gallons=/ We just tested the stuff according to the instructions on the same chair and absolutely nothing happened. Nothing is coming off even with vigorous scrubbing. For comparison sake, I took a Target disinfectant wipe and rubbed another area and it at least took off most of the dirt and top stains.
I'm feeling duped and stupid, but apparently I'm not the only one. Lesson learned - nothing good comes from door to door sales. This will not happen to me again. All I can do now is hope it does not happen to others. TKO is a scam!

I bought a bottle of TKO cleaner at the Annapolis boat show over a decae ago as the salesman said it would remove oil stains from my driveway. I have used it over the years and it does exactly as promised. I have found it to be the only cleaning agent that will remove the oil stains and I could not be more satisfied.
For the record I have used TKO only to remove oil stains and not as a general purpose cleaner so I cannot comment on its general effectiveness but nothing works better to dissolve/emulsify those unsightly oil stains.

I have to say that I also purchased this product and I am amazed at how well it works. I even bought extra spray bottles and began giving them away when friends and family saw how well it worked. I do mix mine a little stronger simply because I use it on everything. I actually found this post while I was trying to locate online where I can re-order. We live on a cattle farm and flies are bad, but the little specks of poop they leave on our front door is just horrible. I was so tired of scrubbing. Now I just spray, wait 30 seconds and wipe it down with a paper towel. This is a must have for my house. I'm done with any and all other cleaners.
