I bought a lot of xmas presents online. Noticed that quite a few of them had been slit open and badly put back together
I get a call from the above mentioned person claiming to be customs agents asking for my power of attorney, then my credit card number
first refusal they replied with I wouldn't get my package on time
second refusal they said they were going to destroy my package
third refusal where I told them to return it to the seller - that kinda stumped them
then they came back with who is going to pay for the destruction of the package
and they added something new, are you 'abandoning the package?
they called themselves customs but they are private - that is like hiring a bunch of private detectives and calling them cops
it was a real nice leather jacket and I can see one of those crooks cherry picking through packages to 'help out' customs
I think this is an ongoing thing, it is mentioned in their wiki page - they keep changing it to remove negativisms but check the history and you wll see that they have a negative rating with the better business bureau and that the office is a front and it is hard to catch them because they swim through loopholes
canadian government responds with - 'if you can't make me look bad in the paper, then I don't care'
they have apathy down to such a fine science
if I buy something overseas, the courier company is supposed to call me and tell me about addages and if I didn't accept that, I would use another conveyance - these guys ambush you with fees greater than the item's price, and come at you like the credit bureau, fast talking and full of implied threats
so these grinches spoiled my christmas, that has to be worth a lot of karma
